I recently bought a copy of the Commemorative Edition Necronomicon, and I've been very disappointed in the extremely poor editing. There are constant spelling errors, but those haven't been the worst. In at least one story I was reading (the Silver Key), there is a sentence that gets cut off and merged with a later paragraph.

Has anyone else noticed these errors in this collection, or did I just somehow get a bad copy?

Maybe this is just a Rochester thing, but it seems that since Covid, reservations are basically required to get into most restaurants. Does anyone know why this might be, or am I just crazy?

Reservations used to be mostly necessary for large parties, but even getting in with two or three people seems difficult without a reservation.

I'm looking for a good book to sink some time into, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding one. I'd like a full cosmic horror book (not a short story anthology), but there seem to be very few that are any good. I enjoyed the Fisherman and the Terror, as well as 14 by Peter Clines, but others that I've read have been... lacking in quality. I don't enjoy gratuitous violence or sex, and both of those seem to be very prevalent in modern books. I am particularly fond of Lovecraft and Algernon Blackwood's writing styles.

Any suggestions?

I've beaten the first dungeon, but I can't access either the flute or the book of Mudora to reach the second dungeon. I can't access the hammer yet either, nor the flippers. I can't reach Aghanim because I can't get the Master Sword yet.

Can anyone see a solution that I may be missing? I greatly appreciate your help!

Has anyone else noticed that the weather forecasts have been really inaccurate lately? I live in Rochester, and it was forecast to be in the 70's on Monday, and it barely even got to 60. This has been happening fairly regularly lately. I know that predicting weather is difficult, but usually it's fairly accurate for a few days out. Does anyone know if there is some unusual weather phenomenon going on at the moment?
