Just finished BoG and I’m sad.

The way “Shadow Wars Talion” is portrayed in the BoG cutscenes makes me like him even more. I think it humanizes him in a way we didn’t see in the Shadow Wars, and even the interactions with his Uruk pals were fun. I wish there’d been more of that in the main game.

This makes the ending of Shadow Wars even more bitter. I didn’t feel like Shadow Wars were a “grind” because I love the gameplay, but still, I wish there had been a way to affect the ending because it felt like all that effort didn’t matter. I’d do another 10 rounds of Shadow Wars for Talion to have not submitted in the end, and had just kept fighting and held onto that shred of humanity until Saur

I’m opening a lot of silver chests and running orca through the online fight pits - mostly for training orders and the hope of getting a couple to legendary.

But the AI sucks, and so the fights are as annoying as hell to sit through.

Are there any combinations that are an even-bet at leas to win? Or any combos I should immediately scrap for gear?

I’ve played since RB1, and know the mechanics, but I’ve got some friends who want to play RB4 , and maybe I’m looking in the wrong place but I can only find advanced guitar tutorials in RB4. Nothing for drums or singing, and no basic guitar.

Do you pick missions/targets based on the gear you want to upgrade? Or do you scroll through all your gear when you encounter a captain?

I have so much gear stockpiled (even after scrapping non-legendary gear more than 3 levels below my current level) that the process is cumbersome.

I really enjoy acts I and II, so I've restarted a few times. I also love doing online vendettas. So I thought it was cool that if you don't open my level 25 vendetta chests, you can use them in Act I in a new game. They don't scale down to your level either.

Is that intended? Seems kinda cheaty, but being the manfilth I am, I don't care.

Either in terms of gear or skill upgrades?

I'm playing on nemesis, and the lack of weaknesses and environmental tools is making this fight really tough.

Started a new game, and just got to the point where I take my first fortress. Is this too soon to start upgrading the walls? I have a lot of mirian saved up, but was thinking about buying silver chests instead.

My last play through, I swear there was a real bed in the police station - in the little room on your right, just off the main room as you come in. Heylen hangs out there.

Now it's just a sofa.

Is the furniture randomized? Or am I crazy?

I was going to do a Minutemen and settlement building play through, but my second settlement mission from Garvey was to County Crossing, which wanted me to kill some raiders at Dunwich.

So I'm like 'nope', maybe level with the BoS first. But then my 2nd Quartermastery and Cleansing missions were to Far Harbor.

Is this a new thing? When I played right after launch, BoS would send me to Wicked Shipping, Javert Bros, the campground with the bear next to there, the train yard, etc. and sometimes I'd even get dupes if I was lower level. And Garvey would have me to to Starlight, Oberlin, and Sunshine Tidings.

Is it just RNG?

It dawned on me that last night's episode was like a 10-minute Twin Peaks episode (complete with a full song from a band at the Road House) followed by the Twin Peaks version of "The Silmarillion".

If you liked it, you were most likely a fan of Lynchian weirdness and horror/beauty, a Twin Peaks lore geek, or both. Just as the folks who enjoyed (or merely slogged their way through, like me) "The Silmarillion" were either huge fans of Tolkein's writing, creation mythology fans, or Middle Earth lore obsessives.

Based on re-watching the original run, I think DoppleCoop is supposed to be the bad side of Cooper, not some dark reflection or "the opposite" of Cooper. (The one problem with this theory is the flashes of Bob and Cooper whooping it up together, (kind of like Mike and Bobby in the jail cell, come to think of it).

Based on my assumption that he's the "bad" side of Cooper, I've been trying to figure out what DoppleCoop actually wants. What has he been up to for the past 25 years?

Given his abilities, he probably could have amassed a criminal empire and be living in luxury if he wanted, but he does not seem to be living in luxury. Based on his "you're still with me" comment in the mirror, i
