Laid off in February and have my bills pulling up now after living off my credit cards once my savings ran almost dry.
Actively looking for work each week, been selling things I own to get by slowly but it’s not enough and I have a wedding coming up. I’m freaking out. If anyone feels the need to help it is greatest appreciated, so much so I don’t think I could ever thank enough. I thought this year was going to be a new step but it so far has just been a nightmare. I hope the rest of you are doing better than I. Or at least keeping your head up. Thanks again.

Through the tears in my eyes, I needed somewhere to vent some more. Despite the many difficulties of life at the moment and the struggles I am facing, this one was not expected the least.
My grandfather suffered an aneurism at the top of a flight of stairs in 2018, he cracked his skull, brain bleeds, hemorrhaging and mood changes. What we thought was him coming back was him slowly losing his memory over time of who we were and what things are. He would lash out and was moody but he was still my grandfather. Until he fell again, this time causing another brain bleed and a slow decline in memory, cognitive ability and facial recognition. At the time of all this period, these many years I did
Man I don’t even know where to start, laid off, wedding I’m suppose to pay for by August, my grandfather is dying in hospice, I’m broke and my debt is rising, the job market near me is abysmal and I’m living off my credit cards at this point.
I know I’m not the only one but holy crap, I had just proposed in December to my fiancé and thought that life was actually moving in a real direction, but now it just feels like I’m walking in place. Never moving, just stuck. Many people will say keep your head up, but I’ve been doing that for so long now that it feels too heavy.
Whether the nerves have got to me or what but all I think to myself is that I can’t climb out. I’ll never reach the goal I
If you’re trying to get into lifting right now, I feel bad for you. The amount of conflicting information out there is insane. You have influencers telling you that you need to be in the gym 6 days a week, running massive volume, doing complex movements, and eating a miserable diet to see any progress.
It’s exhausting, and it’s exactly why so many people quit after a month.
I was stuck in that same trap. I was hovering in the low 250s, trying to carve down to a slimmer 165-170, and absolutely spinning my wheels because I was overcomplicating everything. I was burnt out, sore, and dreading the gym.
I finally decided to scrap all the noise and go back to the absolute basics. I changed three
Staying in Jardim Paulista, the real question is how do I find bud? Is it a common thing in the city? I’m from a major US city so when it comes to this I’m not new and I know the safety precautions with sketchy people and areas, but I’m not use to rich areas.
Hi everyone, gringo here. I'm going to propose to my Brazilian girlfriend during our stay in Jardim Paulista during Christmas. I'd like some suggestions for restaurants in the area, as well as nearby gardens where I could propose or any other place you consider appropriate! All types of food are welcome. Does anyone know the Japanese neighborhoods? She's very interested in visiting them. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help

Hey everyone! Question for y’all, just bought my fiancé a laptop and bringing it to her in Brazil. I plan to make her an account and wasn’t sure which region to make the account as well as what was the best way of purchasing her a few games before I head over. Do I use my own debit/credit card to buy some games and have her region be in the US for a few months or use hers and have it in Brazil’s region? Or is it easier to use steam gift cards? Thank you for any help!
Hey everyone, looking for some ideas for things to do around the city (São Paulo) during the week of the 20th -27th. Will be staying in the neighborhood of Jardim Paulista. Open to any ideas from anyone who’s been there or lives there. Anything specific I’d say is this is a proposal trip for my girlfriend. Thank you all for any help, much love.
Hey everyone, question for those living near GRU and in São Paulo. Coming to Brazil from December 21-27th to see my gf and propose to her. Looking at The Pullman but wanted others input (reason is price range and close to airport). I don’t mind traveling into the city but I figured it isn’t unreasonable to plan a few days to go into the city early in the morning (fight traffic) for the day. Wasn’t sure if that was a stupid idea or not I know GRU is a dead zone. Also the rosewood is lovely but too out of my price range. Other thing any good restaurant recommendation for Christmas Eve (I know you guys do Eve and not really the day). Thank you all for any advice and help.
