Why would flexible front wings be an issue? It's not a form of active aero, and it seems like a great avenue for some minor aero improvements. They could make use of compliant mechanisms, that flex to morph into a flatter shape at higher speeds, and then flexes back when they brake and decelerate down past a certain speed.

Hearing people get annoyed by people talking when they shouldn't be (in class, at the movies, at church, etc) or might have a harder time focusing on what their doing if there's a conversation going on within earshot. Does the same thing happen to deaf people - or anyone who speaks a sign language fluently for that matter - when someone's using sign language within eyeshot ?

preferably under 1000EUR, but if that isnt at all possible, i can go up to 1300EUR.

Hadn't considered them yet, but might be an option if they're still recent.
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?
Something 15" or under, that i can comfortably carry in my backpack. I don't care about 2-in-1 capabilities or whether it has a touchscreen or not. I'd really appreciate a 16:10 or even 3:2 aspect ratio.

In 2018, Joe Thein's house got hit with illegal firecrackers, and I recently tried searching for articles regarding the investigation, but I didn't come up with anything. Seems kinda weird that an arguably prominent political figure suffered a violent attack (allegedly politically motivated, at that) and yet I can't seem to find any follow up articles on the internet.

Does anyone know anything about the case? Any links that might be helpful? Thanks in advance!

S3e8: could anyone explain the Groff family timeline ending to me?

S3 Discussion &/or News | **Features Spoilers**

Why does Maureen tell Michael that that it would all be too complicated for Adam? Adam is obviously missing a healthy father figure in his life, and while Michael was a miserable father he seems to be trying to do right by his family now. Maureen seemed to believe him too the night before when he appeared at her doorstep. Is it just that she wants to be on her own for a while (kind of like aimee) and so she's just creating an excuse to keep Michael at bay, or is there something else I'm missing here?

Hi, I have Tektro hydraulic brakes (don't know the exact model though, I bought the bike in '14 at the sports aisle of a local supermarket). They were filling soft, especially the rear brake. So I bled them both, but now my rear brake lever is oozing mineral oil out of the small pinhole in the top cover. It happened when I pulled the brake lever the first time after the bleed, so I wiped it off and it didn't happen again, until i hung it up on the wall hook by the front wheel and I pressed the brakes again. Again this time, it wasn't a constant flow, only happened the first times I pulled the lever.

It wasn't much, but I'm assuming this is not normal, right? I've bled them once before and t

I started reading Good Omens a couple years ago, but I just wasn't really into it, so I never finished it. I've heard a lot of good things about the discworld series lately. Is it worth buying one of the books or will it suffer the same fate as my copy of Good Omens?

Thanks in advance!

I want to use raw linseed oil as a food safe finish for some wooden spoons, but I'm not too keen of waiting days if not weeks for the oil to finish polymerising. Can i just stick in the oven at 100 or 150 C for a couple hours, assuming that the heat would make the polumerysation reaction go faster, or do will that just damage the spoons and destroy the finish? I searched the sub, and the only relevant post of someone testing this out with chopsticks, which turned out smooth and seemed durable, but it also turned black (probably in the same way cast iron seasoning turns black).

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!

I searched the sub, there's a decent amount of talk about cannabis infused beer, as you'd expect. A lot of it focuses mostly on the psychoactive effects, which isn't really what I'm looking for. I'm interested in the potential flavour benefits.

Since most flavour compounds in cannabis flowers are not water soluble, has anyone tried adding them in secondary, so that maybe the ethanol would help dissolve them? There's a big variety of olfactory profiles when it comes to cannabis, but i was thinking maybe a lemon-y strain in a witbier could work? Does anyone have any personal experience, or heard of any microbreweries who've experimented with it?

Thanks in advance!
