Maybe it’s my general anxiety, or my imposter syndrome…. I panic when I see a mass email “reminding” us to follow all rules and policies, or chiding us for not doing so.

My first inclination is to worry about what I did, or didn’t do, or what mistake I made. It’s just the way my mind works. If an email went out stating “remember not to punch students in the face,“ I would probably start wracking my brain to figure out if I had somehow punched a kid and didn’t realize it.

About 12 of us just received such an email (about following school policies, not about punching students). At first, I couldn’t figure out why we specifically had received this chastising email. I assumed I was in trouble

Older episode. Woman appears on an old man’s doorstep, crying and bloody. Turns out she had killed a guy (I forget if it was her friend or boyfriend) in/at his vehicle. She falsely tried to portray it as self-defense.

My boyfriend’s ex-wife keeps throwing it in his face that his last girlfriend killed herself, and predicts that I will probably do the same and traumatize their kids all over again. Spoiler: I’m not gonna kill myself.

I’ll explain…

I’m dating a wonderful man, age 40, I’ll call Danny. He was divorced over a decade ago. He has two wonderful children who I have a good relationship with. They are in high school and college.

His only serious relationship since his marriage was with a woman who woman committed suicide 2 years ago. She was a great person by all accounts, but suffered from mental illness all her life. Obviously, this was devastating to Danny, and his kids, who had gotten to k

I’ve been in the same House for a few years, and it’s always been great. The HoH was really active and supportive! We did well in Runway Rally, also.

Well, she’s been inactive for over a month. Several other members, as well. We got some new ones, but now our Rally scores… suck.

Is there anything I can do? or is it time to find a new house? (I’m just a regular member, not an officer. )

Clingy teacher making me uncomfortable

Teacher Support &/or Advice

I’m a female teacher in my late 30s. There is a male teacher that will not leave me alone and it’s making me increasingly uncomfortable. School is now over, and I was counting on not having to see him anymore, but I guess with the clock ticking, he’s become pushier.

It used to just be occasional interactions, like last year, he would try to drum up reasons to talk with me, and I was always polite and friendly. One day he invited me to go to his home to play board games with him, and I declined. His response was “It doesn’t have to be board games.” I declined again, and basically said that I would not be going to his personal home for any reason. In one incident he came into my classroom af

One of our first year teachers brought this to the attention of our department today, and I'm at a loss.

Evidently a permanent sub with a nearby classroom has an unusual... habit. Numerous students have complained to First Year that Perma-Sub frequently adjusts/yanks his junk in class, and then smells his hand. First Year had no idea who to bring this to or how to address it. (Both teachers are males.)

I know men "adjust" themselves sometimes, but this seems like a lot, and possibly a medical/hygiene issue??

First Year mentioned this to a male admin with the hopes he'd address Perma-Sub about the behavior, but he suggested it would be more digestible coming from a peer. Like a frien
