Creeping charlie has murdered my yard this year and I am ready to start over. I am planning on tilling my entire yard and laying sod, however I am very concerned that the charlie may grow back, as I tilled entire areas last year and reseeded, however it grew back in the exact same places. Will the charlie grow right through the sod, and if so what can I do to prevent it?

I am looking to get a carpet cleaner/shampooer as we have a puppy that has had a few poop accidents on the stairs, but I also want something that can clean an entire area as well. However, most full size units are to big/wide for stairs. Is there something that can accomplish both?
I confirmed mold in a bedroom using a mold armor test from Home Depot. I still do not know the source of the mold however as there is no physical appearance of mold, only detected via the air. Can I submit an insurance claim for mold remediation without knowing the source? Or do I need to confirm the source of the mold to determine if it will be covered?
I have a very musty smell in 2 closets and a single room in my home. I have no idea what could be causing the smell. It is not an issue with moisture or humidity, and we have even emptied the closets and the smell remains.
Should I call a mold remediation company, or is there a different type of company that can search for the source of bad smells?
The Zoom 65 is scratching an itch I've had for some time since I bought my first tofu: a 65% gasket mount aluminum keyboard with a knob and a WIRELESS PCB. I was so excited I bought two. The question is, are there any more high quality boards coming out that fit this criteria? I'm hoping this starts a trend where wireless is more common.
Ordered 2 Zoom65 essentials kits from Cannonkeys, and wanted to ensure I know where they provide all of their updates. There is a page on their website dedicated to all active group buys, but with just a quick note on status: (Example: The Zoom65 update simply says "Order Placed"). Do they provide any additional updates via other methods like email or is this the only place where I can look to see where things stand?
Apparently, I chose the wrong option when filing my taxes through TaxAct, where I chose to pay at a later date. I owe around $600 federal, but I have no idea if I will owe any interest or anything of that nature, and I am very nervous about owing the IRS money and not knowing about it. Is there any way to get confirmation as to how much interest I may owe?
I did my taxes through TaxAct and provided my credit card information upon completion. I received notice that my federal return had been accepted. It also said the following:
You have elected to pay the IRS through VPS at a later time
I don't know what this means nor did I choose to pay at a separate time. How can I ensure that my taxes are paid and that I don't get in trouble for this?
I have two sets of hedges in front of my house that should be about 7 feet tall, but we've let them grow to 11 or 12. I want to cut them back to a reasonable size, however I am running into problems:
- I have what I perceived to be the right tool for the job, hedge trimmers from Sun Joe that has a telescopic pole. However, this tool isn't strong enough to cut through the thick branches.
- I therefore figure I need a chainsaw to perform this activity, however that seems quite precarious as I need to be on a ladder, and these hedges are also about 6 feet deep as well.
What can I do to get these things cut to size that won't be dangerous? The hedge is some sort of Laurel, btw.
Our crape myrtle tree is starting to bloom a bit but we have not cut it back this year. Is it too late to do so since it's blooming? I don't want to cause long term damage to the tree.
I am looking for a web based software to plan my HT setup, which is a bit complicated as I have 3 TVs. Is there something that exists already that is specifically for HT setups?
I am hiding my speaker wires behind my wall for my 3.1 setup, and I want want to avoid going crazy on cutting drywall. Is it possible to run speaker wire behind studs rather than drilling holes straight through them? Safety issue?
Every bit of tile in my 15 year old house sucks. 3 bathrooms and a kitchen floor all need to be replaced and I really would like to take this project on over the period of a couple years. Is there a best practice for learning how to tile outside of just watching youtube videos? The savings would be immense if I can learn this myself, and the new skillset would be super valuable if we ever move again.
I love my new Momentum 3's but the headband digs into my bald head even when I wear them loosely. Are headbands to headphones like these replaceable? Or am I stuck with this relatively firm padding?
