On my main Arch system some applications (especially ldconfig when running pacman, but now Firefox has begun to sometimes idly wait and so has nvim) just freeze for half a minute or so and are displayed by htop as having the "disk sleep" state.

It getting worse over time and me not having seen any issue like this elsewhere makes me believe that this might be a hardware issue (I've run this system for quite some time, including some disk intensive workloads), but I'm not entirely sure. (I don't have any data on there that isn't either properly backed up, elsewhere or just installed software, so I don't really fear any data loss either)

If anyone has any clue what exactly might be

Late game frustration

SpoilerGameplay Help

I love this game. It's great - it's something I never knew I wanted, with wonderful exploration, the exact right feeling and an interesting world with interesting lore.

However. Anglerfish are the most awful thing in the game. I know that they're blind and that I can't just power through, but even just being really careful with adjustments I manage to alert them and get killed. Which would be fine if I'd need to fly directly to the dark bramble, but I need to take the warp core from the ash twin project with me - and that's what makes this just frustrating.

The amount of time to get to the dark bramble again is just too long - you need to get out of the credits, wait for the game to load

Not a native speaker. Whatever). Sure, it only holds their smell back for three seconds or so, but that's usually enough to walk past. Point is, I think masks rule. Bonus, they slow the pandemic (I'd wear them even if I didn't like them because of it, truth be told, it actually took a li

What the title says. I just need to rant a bit.

I've spent about fifty hours in that game, wandering about, discovering new stuff, discovering stuff I forgot to mark on the map as not yet accessible by accident, defeating bosses, mostly getting defeated by bosses, and collecting Geo to get the unbreakable charms.

And then, I boot the game up this morning, since I am unhealthy obsessed with this game, and am greeted with a corrupted save.

Completion wise, I haven't touched the dreamers yet (although I have been in Monomon's dream, but I just couldn't do it mentally at that point, I thought I'd do it once I'm done with everything else), but I've just managed to get into the abyss, have comp
