Firstly, I would like to say that I understand there are a lot of advocates and haters of this game. I'm mostly impartial, and would like to pose a question: How long can this continue to go on?

This is likely covered many times, and it takes a long time to create good works of art. I appreciate their time and effort--it is not easy. As a founder, I continue to applaud the efforts of the team in bringing us this ambitious creation.

My concern arises only from my personal experience. I was part of a stealth startup in San Mateo several years back, and understand the challenges working in an environment where you have a product but it has not shipped yet.

I have a Critical Illness coverage package from Lincoln Financial which says it will pay 20,000 for an organ transplant. I had a heart attack in March of 2020 and was diagnosed with heart failure at this time, but the coverage start date was Sept 2021.

I believe that this would be considered a pre-existing condition, for which they would not pay. I have a heart pump, which probably is considered treatment.

However, I thought there might be "wiggle room" on this particular coverage item since there isn't a treatment for heart transplant. It's an event. But I feel like that would be pushing it.

So would Heart transplant be treated as a covered event, and not a condition?

I noticed a rather annoying problem with a windows 10 guest with the latest guest drivers and VBoxSVGA and Accelerated graphics. The taskbar would be clear and settings is practically unusable.

There is a bug about this that's 2 years old with little resolution. Many have speculated this is OpenGL related.

I noticed this only happens with apps which use transparency. Once you disable transparency, Windows will work fine.

To do this: regedit;

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize

DWORD Enable Transparency to 0

You can do this via the settings-> personalize, but it was always greyed out for me for some reason.

Have a weird one. I recently did a windows update and my touchpad stopped working. The update was a culminative update and there doesn't seem to be a rollback functionality.

The touchpad works in the bios, and I've tried reinstalling the drivers, but with multiple generic HID devices, I'm not sure exactly which one. I think I may have to drill down to the device ID string.

Anyway, it's a MSI GP66 Leopard 10UH and was hoping someone had a similar event or had a suggestion.

I'm not sure if the Windows update did it, specifically. Might just be timing. Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

I realize this isn't a tech support forum, but I don't think I have anywhere else to ask.

I'm writing a log parser that parses based on grok patterns. I end up with a map[string]string output. I transform this into json.

I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to store the data. I've looked into a few items, and want to do SQL and want to embed it.

I've only found 1 embeddable db which works, but is crazy slow. I use go routines to parse, and writing them to the db ends up becoming a big issue.

Anyway, to my question. Most embeddable dbs I've seen are k,v stores. How could I possibly store log entries in a k,v store? Is there a standard practice?

This has happened to me more than a few times. I don't understand what I'm doing.

Both my spirit bond potion buff (2h) and my Grand Company 17 hour gathering buff disappear. I'm not sure when it happens because I don't immediately notice.

Is it because I visit a city? It's a 17 hour buff, shouldn't it remain?? This is very frustrating! I didn't change my equipment. I think the only think I did was accept a quest.

I was thinking it's because Scholar's arms are there, but those give piety which isn't quite useful for me. What am I missing about this?

I don't know where else to turn. I am stuck on the sage awakening quest where the black spirit tells me I've been teleported to a cavern. But it never teleports me.

2 months ago, I filed a ticket and they said it had been fixed and asked me to confirm. I replied that I was still stuck, and I have not heard back since.

This has effectively made me stop playing the game. I've tried abandoning it, and when I accept it again, he says: "You've been teleported to blah" and I'm not.

Anyone know how to fix this?
