Morning all

Any users of the saas veeam m365 backup solution that stores data imuutably.

I have a query on admin and break glass

As it uses sso via entra enterpriee app to sign you into the veeam portal

Can you setup an account which doesn't use sso Incase of ransomware? I.e. recovery account manually added in the console so you can still log in ?

Seems if there ever was ransomware that affected the enterprise app you wouldn't be able to log into the veeam console

Cheers

Good evening

We are running a Citrix cloud daas licence which expires in the coming months

Has anyone ran a subscription down past the expiration date?

Do you get any sort of grace period or is it instant termination of service from that point?

Thank you!

Valuations product switches

Residential (Re-mortgage, Product transfer, Porting)

Good evening all When a product rate switch becomes available at the end of my fixed term with Nationwide. Do they use the valuation you see in the application (which I think keeps rising as it appears to have gone up recently) Or do they use whatever they original valued it at and stick to that?

Obviously rate switch is the way I want to go as I believe it simpler, but hard to tell what my LTV bracket will be without knowing the above.

Thanks all!

Good evening For a small sized company around 1000 people What sme split would you have within a product team, I was looking at something like the below:

Collab and communication Virtual desktops and apps Endpoint and identity Copilot & governance inch purview and retention

How would you incorporate power platforms? As the team aren't devs with no desire to be? How would you incorporate SharePoint with external SharePoint team?

Cheers!

Have I missed anything else? Is there a better split to align with certifications? Should the team want to become devs longer term?

Good afternoon We have seen an issue last week where teams has been deleted from a users device or appears to be and it trashes the user profile. Defender logs the deletion through winnit performing the action.

We also see issues where people can't open files from their start menu linked to c:\programfiles\windowsstoreapps (I think that's correct new store app location)

Has anyone seen this happen elsewhere? We were thinking defender maybe stripping old teams versions from a machine where users have logged in previously and never used the device again

But we cannot pin it down and it's not hitting everyone just random devices

Cheers!

Good evening I plan to switch the join method from hybrid to entra joined in my company. I plan to change the autopilot profile, I have never done this before so wanting to be sure that by doing that I won't affect any existing devices that are hybrid? I assume not as it's only for the join phase but there's a reason we don't want a new profile in place due to naming conventions so wanting to cover all bases Cheers all!

Windows Autopatch

Windows Updates

Hello Just trying to understand Autopatch I set this up in a lab and I read you cannot change the rings etc to suit in terms of deferrals, but you can and I have I think? Am I wrong assuming this or having tried to implement it? As it seems to work fine but now second guessing myself! Cheers

Hello So weird issue Migrated a device and user from win 10 from one tenant to another User is a standard user and works fine

Windows 11 same process same user but the user is able to elevate as admin despite the account been a standard user account?

Has anyone seen this behaviour when using the provision packages to migrate a device cross tenant?

Stumped I can see entra has a setting now to say registering user is added as local administrator on device during entra join but the provision package doesn't run as the user and it doesn't affect win 10

Help would be great!
