A few months ago, (Mid-spring) my mom injured her foot and went to the hospital to see how bad it was. The doctor did x-rays and said she had sprained it and was put on crutches for a bit.

She had x-rays done on her feet and hands for unrelated reasons two days ago and today, they called and said she has a broken foot and now has to wear a boot. They said it had never healed and she was walking on a broken foot for months now. She has been complaining that its tender walking for a long time and has had to wear slippers even out of the house.

I'm wondering now if there is something she and I can do to help pay the medical bills now because she needs to buy the

My husband works every day since the pandemic. I have been cooking and prepping dinners for him, but at the end of the month, I have to go out of town for personal reasons (I'm full vax, don't worry :) )

I have been trying to come up with healthy meals for him for breakfast and dinner he can just plop in the microwave when he gets home. He said he'll just order in but I'll be gone for 12 days. What are your best recipes that are filling, reasonably cheap and easy to heat up? All I have so far is breakfast burritos.

He's the one who got me hooked on Origins and I haven't looked back. He watched me play a bit of Inquisition but didn't have interest. So how happy was I that he stayed up till five in the morning playing?!

He's doing the attack on Haven right now. I just coached him on how to save everyone during that part. Oh man I'm sorry for the rant! I'm just so happy I have someone to talk endlessly about Dragon Age with again!

I got my match as I was at the laundromat. Now I'm waiting for my clothes to dry and singing Christmas songs! I will try my best!

So this is strange and I don't know where to ask for help. I hope this is okay.

My husband needs his birth certificate to get a new ID but he isn't in contact with any of his family. His mom gave him away when he was a baby and he doesn't even know what city he was born. He says he thinks he was born in California so I was thinking of calling all the city health departments with his information. Without getting personal, is there a way to find it? I'm willing to get a headache over this if it means he gets a hold of it.

I work at a tiny diner in a tiny town. Eight tables. So we get a lot of regulars. This one young lady comes in weekly with her dad and buys breakfast. They are sweet and friendly to me all the time.

So, today she comes in with a young man and they have a sandwich each. I was born socially awkward and I'm pretty sure I'll die that way. I make small talk and when its time to pay, I give her the bill. She says, "that's a lot less than when my dad comes in with me" and laughes...
