Hey All,

I’ve been on a reading kick lately and am trying to remember all of the books I read and/or was supposed to read while in school.

I was in elementary/middle school in the late 90s/early 2000s. I remember a book that was on a summer reading list one year that I read. It was about Native Americans, though being the 90s it’s possible the book was about “Indians.” Not totally sure when the book was published but it must have been ‘95 or before?

All I can remember is that the book cover was a Native American boy on a boat going down a river or stream and at some point in the story the MC stops his sister from being raped I think by white men, by bashing in the attackers’ head with

Hey All,

I’ve been going through all the books I was supposed to read in school but never actually did and trying to make up for it as an adult lol

There is a book I vaguely remember that was summer reading about Native Americans (I went to school in the 90s so there is a strong possibility it was “Indians”). This was for like elementary/middle school. I remember the cover being a boy going down a river or stream, the title may have had river or grass in the name.

The only thing I remember about the story is there being a moment where his sister is about to be raped I think by white men and he bashed in the guy’s head with an axe. I remember because it was the most gruesome thing I had

Hey Scoobies,

Got a question I can’t find a quick answer to so I figured I’d pose it to the sub!

I bought all the Buffy Season 8 “canon” comics when the trade paperbacks were released about a decade ago, but I never wound up collecting the rest. I figured I’d give the whole thing another shot as they seem to have wrapped the story up with Season 12.

I’m able to find Season 11 & 12 on Comixology, but Seasons 9 & 10 (as well as the Angel & Faith series) appear to be OOP and missing from Comixology.

Other than torrenting (my pirate days are long behind me) is there any other easy way to access these volumes?

Thanks in advance!

Howdy y’all,

I’m on my first watch of Voyager and just got done listening to the Delta Flyers episode on Season 4’s ‘The Gift,’ Kes’ last regular episode (I’ve heard that she appears later on in the show at least once). It’s clear from Robbie and Garrett’s recap that everyone on the crew, Jennifer included, was really saddened and surprised by her departure.

I’ve seen a few different possible explanations including the writers didn’t have any material left for Kes’ character, that they had to get rid of one of the cast to make ‘room’ for Seven, and possibly there were issues behind the scenes with Jennifer related to substance abuse.

I don’t know how much I believe there wasn’t more to d

Sorry if this is a repost, first and foremost. I was wondering if anyone had information on whether the Wax and Wayne Era Mistborn books would be released in a trade paperback format similar to the Era 1 series with covers by Sam Weber.

I just hate looking at my mass market paperbacks next to the bigger editions for Era 1, lol.

Any help is much appreciated!

So I've been thinking a lot lately about the potential of a Star Wars live-action series. LFL has expressed some interest in it, especially when the rights were first purchased by Disney. I think Kathy has spoken about it as well.

I believe the best course for a Star Wars live-action series might follow the "anthology" model that we've seen in shows like Fargo and True Detective. This allows us to see a lot of different topic/stories set within the Star Wars world.

We could have a season focused on a story of the Jedi and Sith in the Old Republic. A season centered around the Gold Squadron, showing the daily lives of Rebellion pilots. Maybe that Bounty Hunters storyline could be i

I'm not sure what the time limit is on spoilers, so I tagged the post just in case there's anyone new to the franchise strolling through the sub. So, my apologies if this has been asked/answered before. I looked it up but couldn't find anything.

I was rewatching Rogue One today and got to the scene on Eadu where Cassian has to make his decision whether or not to kill Galen Erso. It's a great sequence and I think a defining moment for his character. He's someone who has presumably spent a lifetime making morally-grey decisions and finally draws a line in the sand about how far he's willing to go for "the cause." He has a great opportunity to make the killing strike on Galen, but he does
