Please help. We are desperate.

My three year old is experiencing SEVERE car seat aversion and I feel like we have tried everything available to us. This has been going on for nine months and it's currently the worst it's ever been. She has no issues with the car or the car seat itself, but she comes completely undone when the straps are tightened.

She isn't able to sit comfortably unless the straps are extremely loose, roughly 5" inches away from her chest when extended - this is obviously not safe. Any tighter than this and she will fight: kick, scream, hit, throw things, nearly hyperventilate and/or vomit, and she will try to escape. She will rub her thighs and shoulders raw attempting

My mother, who I am currently estranged from, has plans to write a memoir-style book about her grandchildren and her experience as their grandmother. This book would include intimate details about my life and my two children. I don’t think her goal is to become a NYT best seller or to make a profit.

My first born died during labor. My mother and I were estranged during my entire pregnancy, but my mother did come to the hospital after my daughter died to meet her. My second child was born nearly two years ago, but my mom and I have been estranged again for the last nine months with no end in sight.

My mother is a narcissist and is likely to paint a picture that represents her in a light d

Hi everybody,

I have a 15 month old French Faverolle hen who has been unwell for quite some time. We initially thought it was due to our male runner duck “over mating” her, but we got rid of him a couple of weeks ago and things are not improving.

Her tail is very low and limp, she moves slowly, and now she is limping. She’s still eating and drinking, but does feel thin and spends most of her days alone in a corner of the run despite having ample freedom to roam the hard. She’s in a flock of six hens and everybody else is perfectly healthy.

I’m prepared to take her to the vet if necessary, but funds are extremely tight. I’m wondering if there are any home remedies I can try beforehand?

I feel like I’ve scoured the internet, but hoping I missed something. Strong preference for learning this skill in-person and don’t need a certification. Would also be cool if the class was exclusively child/infant focused, but I suppose having adult CPR skills would only benefit me. My baby is turning six months old soon and I’d like to learn CPR before starting solids. Better safe than sorry!
