Is there a way to disable ideavim only for AI assistant and Junie? ideavim clunky to me, there.
What code test coverage tools we using? Ideally something that works for go and python, but just go suffices.
Free, open source, and works on GitHub actions is preferred, but interested in hearing what else is running around. I’ve used sonar in the past and liked it enough to consider again.

Anyone using Pop!_OS on a legion 7 pro?
RTX 4090 16gb 32gb ram i9
It’s working quite smoothly playing games and for development.
Battery is 3 hours with nvidia GPU. 5 or so with integrated. Haven’t played too much with maximizing it so I’d appreciate tips.
Also, the internal speaker doesn’t work on Linux. It’s a known issue but not sure if anyone has found a workaround.
Legion 7 pro RTX 4090 i9 32gb ram. Let me know what other info is helpful.
Has anyone gotten the internal speakers working? They worked fine on windows. I’ve tried fedora, Ubuntu, Pop!_OS, and mint. No luck on any of them. Tried a lot of randomness from google. No luck yet. Would appreciate any tips 🙏

Thinking about making an indie lacrosse game…
debating whether to solo project, hire a team, what platforms to target, would people even be interested, box/field/6s, etc.
What would you all be interested in?
*** EDIT***
assume the $60 option is for a AAA game(e.g. 2k or madden). Free/cheap option is for solo dev game.
I’m using a monorepo and only want to run workflows for my affected projects. In CircleCI, this was pretty simple using https://circleci.com/docs/dynamic-config/. GHA doesn’t seem to mention anything similar in documentation. It seems like some people have done something similar https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65384420/how-to-make-a-github-action-matrix-element-conditional.
Have you guys done dynamic workflows in GHA, if so, how’d you do it?
Best answer gets a beer 🍻
I’d love to be able to write a function that only accepts a subset of string values. Other languages do this really simply with enum types. Why doesn’t Go?
Thanks so much for all the helpful answers :) I don’t totally understand why I’m being downvoted. Please shed some light there.
I’m at a startup with 70 or so people. I’m one of two people using Goland and everyone else is using VSC. I think they’re crazy for it but I’m feeling outnumbered.
What do you all think? And why?
The older versions had Goland winning by a landslide and I wonder if that’s changed or not.
Imagine the company is paying for it and money is not relevant.
