This year, what a year fell on some hard times and had some highs and lows. Well today, is my birthday. And I’m not asking for a handout. More so a loan until next Thursday when I get paid.

Looking for £20 to order an Uber eats,

And after some more advice / discussion so basically since then my landlord has agreed to let me pay the arrears when I get paid (which is fine by me) however he said on the condition that a surrender document is signed by the end of today.

Copy of document is also on this post. I’ve only just had a chance to read it due to only being sent it 2 hours ago so haven’t had a chance to consult shelter / advice.

Upon also looking (I’m not sure if this means anytbing) the company the landlord operates through is dissolved in Jan 2024 on companies house? Will this mean anything substantial?

Hi all,

Abit of backstory basically I am currently living in a HMO and recently lost my job. My rent is paid weekly and I currently owe 2 weeks rent (£230).

I have spoken with my landlord and he has replied saying that basically if the rent isn’t in the bank account by the end of the day today. The locks will be changed on my room.

He hasn’t served any section 21 in anyway.

Advice would be greatly appreciated as I can’t find much online.

This is a weird dynamic and I’m unsure how to feel so I thought I’d ask around and gather some advice.

Basically we will call my friend Dave, I’ve known Dave since I was 12 years old and speak to him daily. This month has been a hard one for me financially and I spoke to Dave about it last Monday and he offered to help me short term until I get paid next week. Next week me and my girlfriend will be on holiday in Sousse for the first time, just trying to get some guidance before we go.

Is it an expensive place to visit? We are visiting from the UK, so I’m assuming I’ll have to purchase DT when we arrive due to it being a closed currency. We are planning on taking around 1000DT for a 7 day trip, the hotel is all inclusive. Will this be enough ?

For context last year I was in a much better place financially and in the august me and a friend booked a trip. 20 days long to thailand, this trip was paid for over the following few months and we paid it off in December.

So for context it’s my partners birthday today, we don’t live together so I sent her a card / flowers and will give her gifts over the weekend when we have stuff planned.

Basically today I posted a few instagrm stories saying happy birthday to her with some photos of us togeyher. I then noticed that she had reacted and reposted all of her friends and colleagues who done it. But just ignored mine? I questioned her and she said “oh I didn’t see it” then I said “but it says you’ve viewed it” and she then got in a mood and said “my phones playing up okay, I’ll talk to you later” and is now being very distant?

I’m about to move into a new property short term and the landlord sent over the lease documents to sign. We previously had issues with me passing the credit check due to an unknown CCJ however his response was “don’t worry I’ll sort it”.

2 days pass and he sends me over the lease, and under the section where it mentions my name the surname is completely different.

I didn’t notice until I clicked sign (my own fault) should I be worried in anyway?
