I would love to promote some light-hearted discussion on the sub, feel free to share your current/favorite PC you’ve ever played during a campaign. Maybe some of your favorite feats they’ve performed or just their cool backstory. I’d love to hear some of the creative creations people have made, even including them as some rival party in another campaign somewhere for some cool multiverse stuff :) I’ll pop in the comments but I wanna hear all your great stories!
like posts on pinterest or twitter are direct callouts about your behavior, telling you to either try harder or you’re going to hell. Or sometimes that everything is going to be okay. As if it flips back and forth between hope and despair.
I don’t want to set it off, but it’s a scary feeling to feel like you aren’t trying enough, or to feel like you’re just short of being good enough to go to heaven. I feel like I’m trying to improve myself, and also that I’m lazy and digging myself into a hole. It feels like the devil is trying to take me, and I don’t know which way is up, or what to do; other than to try and spread love and joy, pray, and improve myself daily, but it’s so hard to hold mys
It’s so good to know I’m not alone here

my roommate’s cat (Female, 4 years old) stopped going to her litter box about 3 days ago. On the 2nd day she began throwing up a lot, not bile or anything mostly just bubbly spit. Still no urination or stool whatsoever, we were scared that she may have had some kind of blockage in her system, which we know can be very immediately fatal. We got her x-rays done today and the emergency vet told us the x-rays showed no blockage, so they gave her an enema and I believe some medicine to help her pass something. It’s been a couple hours and they say she still hasn’t gone. At what point do we start to worry again?
For the past week it's felt like I have to breathe out of a straw. I went to the ER, thinking I had covid or something; all tests for all things came back fine so I was told it was anxiety. After a bit of nothing helping, I followed up with my gp, and they prescribed me an albuterol inhaler.
I feel a little better, my gasps are less frequent, but is it really gonna be like this forever? I'm just having trouble accepting it. It came out of nowhere
Any words are appreciated :(
I just got back from the ER. I am a 21 year old male, no medication, but I do smoke. They x-rayed my lungs, tested my blood, urine, the w!hole treatment. They tried telling me it's just anxiety but that very clearly isn't the case. It feels like I'm breathing out of a straw and it's only been getting worse over the past week. I'm scared if it gets any worse I won't even be able to stay conscious without support, but I have no idea what else could be wrong. I'm trying to set up an appointment with my gp but I don't know what I could even tell them. I just want to breathe again.
I've just finished writing notes on session one of my first campaign. However, I really want to 'playtest' it, in the sense that I want to cover in unforeseen holes that I know exist somewhere. Is there any concrete technique people have done to find these holes?
From what I understand, quantum computers are special because they simulate every outcome at once because of superposition. By that logic, wouldn't a quantum AI be able to simulate any responses to stimuli or external information on an infinite scale and generate outcomes? It wouldn't be direct communication, but I figured if two of the same AI existed in two different timelines, by their nature, couldn't they have some awareness of the other's existence?
