Boot recommendations

Boots Buying Help

I wear a size 10.5 and just lost my boots today, they fell off my truck unfortunately. On the bright side, I guess it’s time for a new pair. My old boots were starting to make my big toe go numb, which I think was from the sidewall pressing on a nerve.

I’m an insulator, so they’ll mostly see dust and normal job site wear not anything too extreme. I live in Texas, so heat and breathability matter since my feet run warm. I also have slightly wide feet.

They don’t need to be steel toe, but I do prefer lace up boots. I know good boots aren’t cheap, and I’m willing to invest if they’re comfortable. What are people recommending these days?

I’m currently in Kyoto and heading to Tokyo this weekend so far it’s been fun but I definitely want to stop by at a town on the way back to Tokyo and see something calmer and different somewhere that isn’t swarmed by tourist. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to stop or go to instead of just directly taking the Shinkansen to Tokyo.

I’m about to close on a deal next week to buy my first bike ever I’m 21 and never rode before, I’m about to purchase a 2017 Honda rebel 500 with about 4k miles and no issues as far as I can tell. I’m really just posting to ask and try to justify if it’s truly worth it, for me to get this bike.

I’m 5,8 and I don’t think I’m going to have a problem on the bike and maneuvering but I also don’t want to spend the money on the bike just to not like it long term, so any tips anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

When running pre bench my i7 12700k runs very low frequency it’s 4.6 GHz when normal is around 5.1 Everything else is running good my temps are pretty good and my gpu runs perfect.

Any ideas? Or is this just not even important?

I currently have about 5k in TRS I was going to refund that money and take it out but I would end up taking a 30% fee on it, 20% on taxes and 10% on early refund fees. Is it not possible for me to just roll that money over into a Roth IRA and only then take a 20% cut from my balance and keep the rest? If this does ideed work would I then be able to just take that money out immediately or would I have to wait a period of time before I could access those funds? Hopefully this makes sense

Anyone else having issues with the 3rd dealer being useless I get about 5k for about 3 days from the first two dealers, but the 3rd one only produces about 1.5k they all have the same product he’s just really bad it seems. Anyone have the same issue or any ideas?

I’ve already saved and quit, killed him to reset him and nothing has fixed it.

Im going to apologize in advance for if this if its a bit confusing.

So i just put in my two weeks earlier this week and hr is sending me all the info i need for my departure and they emailed me saying they are basically only paying me 700 for my last check because of my pay being "annualized" saying "As of of 3/3 you will have worked 109 days earning $15,868.65. As of 2/10 you have been paid $15,147.00.  The remaining amount owed is $721.65."

  * **Start Date: 9/3/2024**
  * **End Date: 3/3/2025**
  * **Total Days Worked: 109**
  * **Daily Rate: $ $33,048.00 (annual salary) / 220 working days = $145.58 per day**
  • **Total Compensation owed for 24/25: 109 days x $1

So I’m currently using Starlink 3 it’s been good but I’ve had issues with their router, aswell as the coverage since we have a separate house/shed about 50ft besides our house that gets little to no coverage. I know mesh systems aren’t cheap but if I could get any recommendations that have good range I’d appreciate it, I’d say my budget is about 200-400.
