Hello everyone. I tried googling for this but am unable to find the results I am looking for as I keep ending up at suggestions for published novels and stories instead. That is not exactly what I am looking for.

What I am looking for is works of fiction online which I can read from the writers website with new chapters or parts being added every week or so.

I would also appreciate if someone can tell me what words to put in the search bar to get the result I am looking for allowing me to get the various suggestions for sites like these.

She stood over the little babe of hers who was now half hidden amongst the tree trunks. The little one had made quite a journey for someone barely an year old. So far away from the cottage, and so deep in the woods all by himself.

Her husband had commanded her to forget the child, for it had been taken by the forest and now was to become a meal for the wolves that roamed the lands. Yet she couldn't do it, and while her husband snored in his bed, she gently lifted herself out of his embrace so as not to wake him up, and taking a lamp, she went out quivering in her night robes.

Walking in the cold and chilly winds, with fear in her heart, she looked about for hours on end until she found her

You are observing as you always do, never able to fully connect with anything that is going on. Right now, you are running down a maze being chased by another person who wants what you have. That man running with the package is you and you are the figure observing as well. It's getting pretty boring and you expect this scene to shift and collapse into another one at any moment.

As expected something shifts, but not in the manner that you expected. You watch through the eyes of the you that is running away as you hear an inhuman scream behind you the likes of which you have never heard before.

You turn around and instead of the katana wielding ninja, now there stands a creature that looks

The cosmos are ending as the final song awakens once again to prepare for the new beginning. The song plays a melody no ears have ever heard before, a melody of both life and death, a melody that speaks of everything that is, ever was, and ever would be, with barely a hum. The song that bends the cosmos to prepare it for it's new birth as a midwife would prepare the pregnant woman for the new life she will soon bear.

The only one's left to hear the song are now the heroes of legend. Those older than entire civilizations, wiser than the greatest minds that spanned quadrants. The final warriors ready for their final battle as they had always done during the end. Nurses helping the midwife pre

The last conflict that took place was about twenty years ago. Four years before I was born. All the wars had ended forty years ago, but there had been people hiding from a better world, as I had been told throughout my life.

We studied about that final conflict in high school, for it was something that we were all supposed to take pride in. We were taught about it, even though everyone knew about it since they were kids. It was a moment of great pride for the world. I believed in that until yesterday.

For the past forty years, every person above 18 years of age, or troublemakers below that age, would be sent to the metamorphosis plant, where there exists a chamber made of biomechanical c

She watches from the branches of an Oak as the children play their little games and prance around, the young ones oblivious to her presence.

The children push and pull and shout with glee, each one lost in the excitement of the first snows of winter, throwing snowballs at each other. She watches them play, amused.

She observes the youngest push his partner and a fight ensues, the older one stepping in to break it, only for the youngest to shout in indignity even as he is pushed away. In the end he stands aside, a pout over his face and his feet firmly planted on the ground.

She doesn't know why they fight, but she can see now that the oldest scolding the younger one.

The young one, sta

It's been 3 months since you started. Daily, you would get down to work, to practicing a new skill, taking a twenty minute test to see how well you fared.

In the beginning you could barely manage to find the letters without looking down. Over time though, you began to recognise the patterns, how the fingers felt when they tightened and loosened as they moved over the various letters.

Soon enough, you reached speeds in the 20's, within a week, your speed was in the 30 words per minute threshold. After that it took you a few more weeks to reach over 40, then another month to reach 50. By the end of the three months, you had made it into the lower 70's.

In the last few weeks though, you sta

Two hundred thousand souls had been chosen for this journey. Two hundred thousand people from a thousand different worlds, consisting of men, women, and children. Two hundred thousand selected to go on a journey to land across all of mankind's empire. To step foot on all two hundred thousand of its worlds.

They travelled across the stars. Frozen, in a dreamless sleep, waking up only once they reached their destination. They would stay awake for barely a few hours, before they would return to their mechanical cocoon's to sleep once more.

Upon the world's they landed they became legends, myths, of the sign of the glory of man. Sometimes they would arrive on world's only to find them full o

I did not kill her because of the abuse like they think I did. Not at all.

All the scars they found on me when the police took me handcuffed to be examined by a medic, all the cracks in my bones, all those days they can only imagine when I had enough blood dripping down my hair to make me think I was a redhead. That was just everyday life for me.

They think that's what pushed me over the edge at last, but that's not true, to them there was a horror here, to me that was a Friday, why would I kill someone because it's Friday.

The reason I killed her was because today when I got back home, wondering if I could get into my bed without facing the belt, I did find her in my room, or it, to be

It was in quantum signals. Not in radio waves, UV radiation, our DNA, or any of the other thousand places we had looked. The messages were encoded at the quantum level.

Once we found them, it took another 80 years for the world's greatest minds to figure out how to unlock the message without scrambling and destroying it by accident.

Inside the message there was only one thing, coordinates. It took another 20 years before the New Terra Corporation agreed to send volunteers on an expedition to the location given to us. Another 2 years getting the team together and ready for the mission, and then a final 4 years to get them beyond the edge of the solar system using the best technology of th

Vampires, they have existed on this earth for thousands of years, with records going as far back as the Indus civilization and the first men gathering around Mesopotamia. Those are where the written records end, but they existed even before then, with the earliest DNA matches found around the time when the first chimps and humans split from their common ancestor around 7 million years ago.

There was a time when they used to rule over tribes, causing fear and dread over the hearts of entire communities, but as time went on, the world of man got together, and soon enough the great beast of the land found himself to be the one being hunted.

Those children who had spent their childhood in fea
