Hi, I’m brand new to the game and I have a question. If an ability allows another unit to attack, does the attacking unit have to be readied?

For example, Moff Gideon, Formidable Commander has a power: “Attack with a unit that costs 3 or less …” Can that unit be one that attacked already on its own and is therefore exhausted?

Thanks!

Now that we’ve had about a half a year under the new rules, I was wondering how people generally felt about them. I hate to say it, but I’m not a huge fan, and I’d be happy for you guys to convince me that it’s better than I think.

I like the unit updates. Some of them really needed it. And the secondary objectives are a fun addition. But, in the end, I’m left confused as to why the developers felt like they needed to change so much. Other than the fact that this is a war game with Star Wars miniatures, it feels like a totally different game.

I don’t like the cover rules now. It seems too random. And, perhaps most importantly, all the primary missions feel the same. It’s just all area co

With the new rules, I’m having trouble running my Rebel army. It just seems like they’re not particularly good at anything.

The developers have been talking about faction identity. In my mind, CIS is the horde, Republic is elite, and Empire is kind of a jack of all trades with an emphasis on suppression.

So what are the Rebels? They now just seem to be the ones who die the quickest.

Under the old rules, you could play sneakier and try to score objectives at the last second. But that doesn’t work anymore because you have to start contesting objectives immediately. And as soon as they poke out to do that, they get smoked. The Rebel Troopers’ new agile keyword is nice, but it just doesn’

“When a unit deploys, the unit leader measures the vertical distance changed during that move starting from the portion of the edge of the battlefield the movement tool is touching.”

What the hell does that mean? It reads as if they wrote it in Chinese and asked Siri to translate it into English.

Are they just saying that you move the length of the movement tool, and it starts from the edge?

Sure, most of the time, you’d be better off doing something else. But what if you wanted to push a wounded unit, or give it another condition? Can you target them with attacks?

So I’m only two days into this, trying to lose a few pounds, but I’m unsure of how much to pay attention to calories. I understand that I can’t go crazy and that calories still exist. But if I adhere to the correct macros, how much should I be trying to meet a calorie goal at the same time? This newbie would appreciate your thoughts.

Hi there. I think I'm confused about the rules concerning purchasing inducements in league play. Is the following correct?

1. Both teams independently spend cash from treasury on the inducements they choose, like star players or other things.
2. The players compare current team value. The player with the higher CTV then decide whether to spend addition funds from his treasury to purchase more inducements.
3. After that, the lower CTV team gets petty cash to spend equal to the difference in CTV and whatever the higher value team most recently spent from his treasury.

Is this right?

Hey everyone. I got my first airbrush for a gift and I’m really excited about it. One of the first things I’d like to do is use it to varnish some minis. Can anyone recommend a matte varnish? Should it be manufactured specifically for airbrushes? Thanks in advance.
