I took the Night Vision DJing classes, and I'm also a music student. So technically I'm just starting, but I have a lot of the skills that true beginners don't have.

I have been considering busking with it, but 1) I'd need to bring a table big enough for my laptop and turntables, and 2) I'm wondering if most people would find that deeply annoying.

I am aware of open Decks events at Evo, but they're mostly for exposure. I'm still going to do those, but I need to pay my bills.

Basically, I want to know what venues would be willing to throw me a bone. I play whatever eclectic blend I like, but mainly Techno, Drum'n bass, Industrial, and curated Pop.

So, I've been setting up systems so that my factories can essentially "order" materials from the core. This is especially useful on maps that don't have the resources you need. For efficiency's sake, I'm attempting to have multiple factories fed from a vault, which receives shipments from the core via payload launcher.

The problem I've run into is that once I've calculated a numerical value for each material (using the factory's production cost and the amount reserved in the vault) I can't weigh more than three against each other. I was using "lower than" Jumps to find the lowest variable, and write a corresponding order to send to the core. However, having more than that adds a lot of Jum

I'm slowly starting to learn how to use logic. I can get factories to order materials from the core and send them, and I'm developing a way to link turret radars and a patrolling unit to send units to fight. I can use flags and jumps mostly reliably.

What I can't figure out is how to get my factories to stop when I reach the unit cap. When I come back to my base, the recently completed one is jamming up my whole system, and I have to disassemble the upgrader.

I have a logic upgrader switch that grabs a single unit when the factory is empty, brings it, and unbinds it once the factory senses a payload. Ideally I'd want to modify this to be able to stop and/or switch to a different unit type.

I'm hoping that there's a way to make this work, and that the answer isn't "The keyboard is too old." I'm a university student and am trying to be frugal. I'm trying to use said keyboard as a midi interface, and there are parameters on the keyboard that let me select which Midi channel it's using and whether or not the sound is coming out of the keyboard itself.

I'm using Ableton 10, and it has a drop down menu of interfaces. I don't believe any of them are relevant to my keyboard.

I have also tried to create a midi external device in the MIDI Studio window on my Mac, but I must admit I have no idea what I'm doing.

Hey, everyone. I've been officially partnered for 2 months (we've known each other much longer). They haven't gone into super specific detail, but can only cum when thinking of a very specific scenario: Someone being force-fed, humiliated, and gaining weight because of it. They explained that they wouldn't enjoy this IRL, but can't get off without imagining being a spectator and remaining motionless to touch themselves very specifically. I tried to dirty talk in ways that I thought would be relevant, but again, their fetish is extremely specific and it's easy to turn them off or distract them. If I move too much, it also throws them off. It takes them a long time to cum... and I get bored. T

I have seen at least three (this I assume because they tend to haunt the same areas.) Probably the worst vehicle decision one could make in our climate. The potholes, the cold, the snow. A heavy vehicle that accelerates quickly is a recipe for disaster 45% of the year here. There are professionals who have to be trained in order to drive heavy vehicles that don't reach top speeds. I recognize that people like showing off seasonal vehicles, but those have safety standards. They are held together by more than mere glue. And they're generally muscle cars or motorcycles. I am baffled by the notion of a "pickup truck" that can't get dirty, wet, or handle rough terrain, and I'd hope that the av

Just got myself a Dock because holding the deck for longer than 45 minutes is really bad for my wrists.

What I like about the deck: -Gyro -Trackpad/trackball controls for mouse controls -Back paddles -Haptics/rumble -Customizability of said features. I haven't connected a controller before, so I'm not sure if the deck would be able to find tune these things on a seperate controller.

What I dislike: -Weight -Too big (Bumpers are too far away when holding it)

I'm not particularly tech savvy and would prefer something that connects easily. So far, it seems like the trackpad is a long shot, but I'd probably adapt to using gyro only.

Have you guys found good controllers for this?

I was just at the Fringe, trying my hand at busking for the first time. I didn't want to be too close to other musicians because I hate the sound of clashing music. But the free corners I was looking at (near MEAT) were populated by Falun Dafa recruiters. In fact, walking around looking for spots I saw a ton of them milling about. For those who don't know, they're essentially a cult of personality that fled China. They do group weddings in the hundreds and are excellent dancers (If you've gone to see Shen Yun, you've unknowingly funded a cult, same as I have.) I thought we were finally gaining ground over the "Believe on Jesus" guy. I know there's legally nothing anyone can do, because Falun

I'm playing on steam deck, and have been using Midnight Controls. I was using it up until 1.20 came out, and stopped playing because it wasn't compatible and other control schemes sucked in comparison. Recently started playing again on a 1.20.4 server with friends, and I'm having an interesting issue: All the controls are working properly except the menus. After playing for a few minutes, I can't open them for more than half a second before they close up again. I can't craft, look at my inventory, or even pause to try to fiddle with my settings. I'm not sure if a setting is causing it, or if it's a bug. Has anyone had a similar issue?

I'm transmasc, and honestly considering going down on my dose. As of my last blood test, I'm sitting at 14 micrograms (or whatever the measurement is). I started about 4 months ago.

I've been trying to figure out if I'm autistic or have ADHD or if it's just social anxiety...and lately it seems to be getting much worse. I find I'm really sensitive, yet struggling to understand whether others are joking or not. I don't know if it's hormonal, or if it's social hangover from a confusing friendship. Did anyone else notice this?

I'm trying to get back into music production, but I'm not super tech savvy. My laptop used to run Ableton 9, then 10, but it's about 7 years old and really struggles and overheats when I start doing stuff. I'm an unemployed student and I'm trying to work with what I have. Is there any feasible way to put my stuff on an SD card and use it on the Steam Deck?

I moved back in with my family for post-secondary this year. I thought not having to work would save me a lot of stress, but gender stuff + dad with narcissistic tendencies is actually more stressful.

The thought of having to find a shitty customer service job, with potentially transphobic co-workers and customers, is halting my progress on getting out. What experiences have you had finding work? What settings are better than others? Is there any hope for part-time options?
