How is CS2 now?

Question/Discussion

Longtime fan of CS and I’ve been wanting to buy CS2 for a while now, but I’ve heard many poor reviews including performance issues and traffic jams being worse to manage than in CS1. I’ve seen on this sub that there have been some improvements made, how do you guys feel about them? I tried the game on my PC a few months ago and it was struggling to even keep up a very small city. My PC generally has little to no issues running modern games so I was pretty surprised. Even on low quality settings it was still struggling at times. For reference I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and an Intel Core i5 12400F. Since it’s on sale now, is it finally worth buying?

I recently had one of my tweets blow up and I had to mute it, which mutes the likes and replies, but weirdly enough, not the quote tweets? It's really strange, usually if I mute a tweet everything is muted, including quote tweets. Also a bit annoying to keep getting notifications for it. Is anyone else experiencing this or know how to maybe turn off quote tweet notifications for the time being?

I've heard this certain drum rhythm being used in albums like Madonna's Ray of Light (for example in Nothing Really Matters), Kylie's Impossible Princess (Cowboy Style), and most recently Addison Rae's Aquamarine in the bridge. It's probably trip hop, but I'm not exactly sure if there is something more specific to this rhythm, as other trip hop I know has a different sounding rhythm and a different sound in terms of samples used. I'd like to try and make drums that sound like this, and I managed to get close to it, but not exactly the same, I think I'm missing a few elements and something with the samples/mixing is still a bit off, so any advice, resources, etc. would be much appreciated!

The part I'm trying to recreate starts here and continues throughout most of the song except a few parts, I was able to pick out a Reese bass in the background and probably a sub bass for some added kick to it, but I'm not sure how to get the "main" bass sounding that punchy. I've seen this kind of bass sound in other pop songs as well, but I haven't been able to find any other resources towards creating that sound so any guidance would be much appreciated!

I've recently encountered an issue with the Firefox search bar where whenever I type in something to search, the search bar sometimes freezes and doesn't take in input; sometimes it will display that input but when I click Enter to search, it only displays a small part of the query (like, for example, "places to visit in ..." would end up searching for "pla" or "plac"), and then sometimes it just won't take in any other input beyond those few characters. The freeze happens for several seconds, after which the rest of the search term appears on the search bar, but when I look up my RAM/CPU usage nothing is overloaded and I can swap to and use other tabs normally. Does anyone know what's going

My next project is at the moment, 7 tracks, most songs are fairly long (anywhere from 3-8 minutes) and the total length of it is about 36 minutes, but I'm not sure what to call this. I've read a bit about the differences between an EP and album, and mine is a fleshed out concept and there is a sequence/story to the project, but I also hesitate to call it an album or mini album; usually mini albums I see used in K-pop which isn't my genre and I'm not sure how popular that format is outside of it. Most albums I listen to and the albums I plan to make in the future are usually in the 40+ minute range with more than 7 tracks. The story I want to tell is already complete enough that it doesn't ne
