I'm hoping u/CardinalXimenes could clear this up, though anyone with a ruling from one of the books would be very welcome. Do Bases of Influence count as Assets for the purposes of the Concealed Tag?
The specific scenario I'm in is that a Faction with the Concealed Tag is attempting to Expand Influence into a place where enemy Assets exist. At first, my question was whether the enemy Faction would be able to attack the BoI at all, but now I'm going down a rabbit hole of whether or not BoIs even count as Assets at all now. So, to make things easy, here are the questions I'm looking for answers to:
- Are Bases of Influence Assets, and do they trigger abilities that target Assets?
- If y

Over the years I've invented a lot of Theurgy for games and homebrews, but I've never collected them all in one place. The spells listed here have been updated and edited for part of a larger project I am working on, but I figure that you'll all enjoy them on their own. Contained within are 90 homebrewed Theurgies: 30 for each tier of Sorcery. Here's hoping a handful of them can help spice up your games!

For the effects of Eldritch Wards (Lich King), it's unclear whether this segment of the Gift
Normal attacks against you that involve bolts of eldritch power or other strictly magical manifestations fizzle uselessly against you if an odd number is rolled on the attack die, even if it would otherwise have hit your Armor Class or have automatically struck you. This defense does not include physical weapon attacks that have been augmented by magic, but it does include wholly emotional or mental normal attacks
would apply against divine Weapon Boosters such as Scythe Hand or Withering Hour. While the initial part of the Gift clearly specifies that it's only talking about low magic an
Posting this here so that half an hour of work doesn't go to waste. An idea popped into my head for an Invocation that lets the Theurge mash two or more creatures together to make a new monster, but I realized too late that it's basically just a worse version of another Invocation I wrote for my Sea of Night setting. Still, it's got a cool mad scientists feel to it, so I'll post it here in case anyone wants to mess around with it
Chimeric Genesis [Throne]
This Invocation can only be cast as a day-long ritual, during which time the Theurge may combine two or more living, non-magical creatures into a new being. At minimum, two non-magical creatures of separate species must be combined
Yet another idea I've been toying with for a while, but have only now gotten around to putting solid mechanics to. Have you ever wanted to give your demigod a swashbuckling flair? Do you want your bon mots to cut deep enough to hurt your foes? Do you want an edge when it comes time for the final showdown with your arch nemesis? Well, the Strife of the Swashbuckler is here for you!
This Strife is designed to emulate the daring bravado of heroes such as Zorro, Indiana Jones, and Inigo Montoya. If you want to play a debonaire fencer like Erol Flynn, or a dashing rogue like Harrison Ford, then this Strife will provide you with all of the mechanics you need
In the climax of Blood Rites, He Who Walks Behind is summoned again to chase after Harry, and outright tells him that they have unfinished busines... and then promptly vanishes to only ever be mentioned in flashbacks for the entire rest of the series so far. What happened? Is there a short story or interview I haven't found that explains what He Who Walks Behind has been up to? Or has he just been a hanging plot thread for years?
The other thing that's been nagging at me is I'm not sure what the exact terms of the summoning that conjured him in the first place were. Madge Shelly conjured him specifically to kill Harry, but didn't actually attack him directly, instead opting to kill Madg
If the fight isn't going your way, just change the future so that your victory is an inevitability
With the existence of Birds and Insects, I saw an opening for a suite of Gifts centered around everyone's favorite canine companions. While Hounds certainly includes dogs, it also holds dominion over other canines, such as wolves and foxes, too

I've been working on Words for the other three seasons for a while and have finally come up with a satisfactory product. With Fall having some spooky elements to its name, I figured now would be a good, thematically-appropriate time to post the results. I hope you enjoy Spring, Summer, and Fall!
A while back I posted the Strife of the Indomitable Lancer, which focused entirely around the use of a polearm. Since then, I've been poking at a sword-focused Strife on and off, and I've finally got it in a shape I like. I am pleased to present the Strife of the Peerless Swordsman!
I've taken a pass at writing up a more streamlined Faction Turn that takes less time, but still manages to generate adventure hooks for GMs who don't have time to run the full thing. I think that it's pretty mechanically solid, but I'd appreciate feedback in case there's something I've missed
