Hello dendrologists.

I have a bit of a problem in that I've a property with some Tree of Heaven growing up near some buildings I have. They grew from sprouts at the beginning of the summer and are now between 4 and 8 feet tall. I'm worried that if I don't do something soon they will spread everywhere and potentially hurt the concrete they are coming up in.

I was thinking of cutting them down and using a systemic herbicide, e.g. drilling a hole into the trunk and filling that hole with glyphosate or triclopyr. I don't know if this plan will work because I know they put up suckers around them when they get attacked. There is a neighbor here who had a full yard of the tree sprouts that have t

I got this via ps plus. It seems pretty fun but is a little overwhelming with the amount of unlocks and menu options. I will probably play a bit more (only done the very basic intro tutorial then jumped into bot games and the big multiplayer thing for the daily metal).

Main question is: how much of a commitment do I need to put in to make the game fun? The combat seems really in depth, but I don't think I can handle a game that is there to consume all my free time. Can I be competitive/have fun with just a few hours a week? Particularly with the seemingly steep learning curve.

Also, are there any tips I could give to friends to get them to enjoy the game more? We did one zone contro

So after hedging with a bunch of builds, I think I've settled on skelemancer as an SSF league starter, and I was wondering if there's some reason it's a bad idea.

I'm not able to post the tree right now (mobile) but the main questions are : mistress of sacrifice or puppet master? Mistress seems meta, but puppet master seems like more minion damage and move speed for the skeletons.

Other than that it seems like a pretty basic summoner build:

Elemental equilibrium

Flesh Offering (speed for the skeletons) - increased duration -faster casting

Also obviously desecrate.

Wrath - generosity

Haste or purity of elements or something without generosity

Summon Skeletons - multistrike - added

The text of [[Spreading Rot]] says " With at least 40 Intelligence in Radius, Enemies Hindered by Blight take 25% increased Chaos Damage"

But the text from Blight says "Enemies who aren't already debuffed by Blight are also hindered for a shorter secondary duration, slowing their movement."

From the two texts, it seems like the bonus damage on the threshold jewel would only apply for the initial application of Hinder from blight, which will be at best ~2.5 seconds.

From my experience previously with Blight, it seems like the hinder is re-applied constantly and basically lasts for the secondary duration after you finish channeling.

Does anyone know? Does the bonus damage only apply

Hi Volvo redditors. I'm looking for a new car and I really like the 2005-20xx S40's, I believe that's P2.

How reliable is this car? I see a lot of high mileage ones for reasonable prices, but I tend to be wary about buying high mileage cars particularly automatics. I've read that the P2 cars have unreliable automatic transmissions, is that true? Does that extend to the 6 speed manual S40's?

How does the engine hold up? 2.4i vs T5? Is one engine configuration better in terms of durability?

Thanks for your help.

May as well add, I was looking at a 2005 S40 w/ 160k miles, 6sp. and a 2006 S40 AT w/ 190k miles. Both ~4-5k and seemingly well maintained. I've heard volvos are reli

So I've played some riki because I'm a filthy riki picker, but only a couple games. I checked on dotabuff and his winrate took a HUGE dive from 54% to 44%. His pickrate though, skyrocketed. Based on a casual perusing, his winrate dropped the most of all heroes post patch, but he didn't feel that bad to me, and most wouldn't have predicted it (based on the dota2 survey).

Some major changes worth noting that affected him:

  • No more blink strike charges and no more bkb targeting with it,
  • No more passive regen with invis (though skilling it past 2 early was a mistake imo)
  • No more double regen speed from eating wards (though double duration)
  • Backstab multiplier at 1.0 max instead

So I've played a few games with Lifestealer in the game since the patch, and the ones that were successful used the ancients via control. The ones that weren't, didn't.

So this makes me wonder how much the ancients can be used (primarily the granite golem or thunderhide).

Also Loda is doing it in the game right now, unsuccessfully. But I don't know if that means it's the wrong way to play it.

The idea is you would just get items that give auras to the ancient creep - and then leverage its magic immunity and generally pretty good tankiness in the midgame to siege.

Item build being things like Drums / Basi early. Potential Vlads (As weird as that seems on Lifestealer). The later

I'm trying to make a map, but I'm having a little trouble sorting out or understanding all of the different aspects of the map, and where/when to utilize them.

I would like to make a fairly simple map to get an understanding of the systems, but things I'm not clear on are the differences between map functions and scripting. Specifically:

  • Objects - I'm not sure what these are. I assume they aren't just map "props", is this things like Player_Start, or whatever?

  • Events - Do these require scripting or are they part of the map in general?

  • Prefabs - I downloaded the BMD barebones template, but I'm actually not 100% sure what advantages that gives me in map mapking, and I have only

While I know everyone is losing their shit over Yang's + DML in the UE set, but I thought with all the additions, a build focusing on Hungering Arrow might not only be possible but be very effective, particularly if Hunter's Wrath is a multiplicative damage increase.

Firs off, why hungering arrow?

Hungering Arrow is the highest single target hatred generator DH has and always has been. The buff to its damage and addition of new items (Hunter's Wrath belt, 9th Cirri Satchell, Buriza, and UE set) have potential to skyrocket its damage.

Unfortunatly I didn't find any good models for expected damage of hungering arrow. There was a lot of talk about it many years ago, but most of the mo

So it crossed my mind playing against TB last night, that Terroblade might be able to leverage Octarine Core in a similar manner to Naga Siren.

Also forgive me for the "lol octarine core on every hero" that was super popular at 6.84 launch.

Upsides:

  • 12 second conjure image CD. You can now have 3 illusions up at a time, rather than 2. This plus the mana should increase your farming speed somewhat significantly.
  • 105 second Meta CD. The interesting part here isn't really the CD, but the fact that the downtime is greatly reduced. It goes from 88 second downtime to 53 second downtime. That means a lot more uptime on meta.
  • 33.75 second BoT's and reduced CD manta style.

Hi r/entrepreneur sub. I want to start by saying I stumbled upon this place after googling Tai Lopez, and I've stayed since.

I was inspired to think about starting my own business, and I've come up with what I think is a really great idea and is something that will actually be doing good in the world.

But I realized that I have no idea how to start. Typical questions I have been asking myself that I don't know how to answer:

  • How much money will I need to start?
  • How long will it take a developer to help me build an online presence?
  • How do I navigate the legal waters of the highly and tightly regulated industry I'm looking at?
  • How to get my idea "out there" to all the diff

I like it when devs really make an effort to polish their details, for lack of a better phrase.

One thing that struck me is the quirk "Nymphomania".

Perhaps it's little known, but nymphomania is actually uncontrollable sexual desire in women. Technically, this quirk should be for the female heroes only.

For male heroes, it should be called "satyriasis."

Evidently mythical forest creatures didn't just like to frolic, but were also notorious for fornicating.

Anyhow, it's just a small detail that has to be changed!

just kidding
