ICYDK: Mazda has online owner's manuals for their cars: Just type in your year and model to start. Most if it is useful; I notice a lot of repetition but useful. (I use it on a Windows 11 computer. Have not tried a smartphone or a Mac.)

Noticed Tuesday for those who dont have the free Costco VISA card.
The major benefit is the Feb credit card rebate will exceed the yearly membership fee if used everywhere, including ALL gas stations, and paid off each month to avoid interest cost.

Did any of you get this email (among the non stop emails Groupon sends out of deals you have no interest in or already looked at and rejected)?
They must be getting a ton of complaints and are "circling in their wagons" to deflect as much of them as possible and delay delay delay most of the complaints. BTW: research them on google or bing and read their history online; it has been not good.

Oct 2024 HP Chromebook Plus with Intel i3 N305 8GB RAM and 256 SSD and now the 2nd (and last USB-C port) no longer works to charge the battery. The HP charger works on other USB-C laptops and for phones but the ports no longer work. Both ports no longer work to charge. I have also tried another USB-C laptop charger which works on other devices. The ports died. Jiggling the USB-C plug does nothing. I tried compressed air. The device is not dusty. I Chrome OS PowerWashed it to get it ready for hopeful HP repair....
What recourse do I have since soon this will become a brick? How to get HP to repair or replace it; it is not old! HELP ! Thanks

I have specifically told Alexa+ I have NO interest in E! News fluff yet after confirming it still shows nonsense about actors and characters I have no interest in or even know who what they are about. How to get rid of the fluff updates?
The old Alexa has a down thumb up thumb on screen option to indicate less or more of the fluff but not with Alexa Plus. Any ideas?

SomaFM is a free streaming service with 44 channels of mainly music genres. Most popular is the Groove Salad channel; you can check it out on their website. Anyway, with Alexa+, the Show8 and Show5 screens now show full Artist and Song Titles.

I have been sending text messages while driving using my Alexa Auto (original 1st generation) tiny unit connected to my Android Samsung phone's unlimited data via TMobile and connected to my car via Bluetooth. "Alexa send a message to Kim" and then I follow the audio prompts. The messages appear in my phone''s Google Messages app after they get sent.
Alexa does much more than just play music and news....

I have four Show 8 units: 3 of the 1st Gen and one 2nd Generation. Same for our two Show 5 Gen 1 units. All got Alexa+ and seemingly are a bit smarter. As a matter of fact I got Alexa on all my devices except the Original Echo black cylinder model. Even the 2nd Gen Echo Dots (hockey Pucks) have Alexa+ now. We have about 4 of those; 2 are plugged into loud computer speakers and sound great.

Last I posted was in June 2025 showing no/little activity at Sams snack counter due to APP ONLY to pay policy. See this latest September 2025 proof of that. I dont take pictures at every visit but this is now routine. Fiasco forcing most of our members to use an app when most pay in cash or credit cards. These tables were always jammed with eating prior to APP ONLY.
