Howdy, folks.

I've got a blue wire ran in-place that isn't connected to the thermostat or the control board. I'm assuming it was never used before.

The control board is an older Lennox 42013-002 (BCC3-2). I'd like to determine if there's a way to connect the blue wire to the control board in order to get it electrified with 24VAC. The end goal is to supply a newer thermostat with a continuous 24VAC.

If that's not possible with this particular control board, then would it make sense to connect the blue wire to an external transformer like this product https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Y6QBX78 in order to accomplish the same goal?

I appreciate any help an

Howdy, HVAC experts.

I'm located in the inland northwest area just south of Spokane, WA. Temperatures are reaching 100-105F in my area. About 4 months ago, I had a Daikin 2-zone ductless mini-split system installed. These units are used strictly for cooling. Everything has been working great. Both evaporators have Aspen condensate pumps installed just underneath.

Suddenly, both of the condensate pumps began buzzing for about 25 seconds each today. Then it happened again after about 10-15 minutes. This cycle has been ongoing for several hours now. Both units are still cooling fine. I'm wonder if this new behavior is the result of extra heat I'm getting outside.

I checked the Aspen manual

For anyone who hasn't been following SpaceX's Starlink project, I wanted to let you know that the greater Spokane region is included in the beta coverage area for their next-gen satellite Internet access.

I've been testing it out for a couple of months now. I'm pleased to report that it's quite impressive with high bandwidth and low latency, especially for folks living in the last mile. The equipment costs around $600 shipped and the monthly service costs $99. Hit me up if you have questions. I'd be happy to help fill in the blanks.

You can sign up on their website, if interested in participating. Cheers
