I recall a book that I would read frequently as a child because I loved the beautiful, colorful illustrations. The book was an anthology of several Japanese fables, one of which was the story of a down-on-his-luck samurai who had a heart of gold and saved a bee from a spider's web.

The bee expressed his gratitude and came back to help the samurai when his clan was going to be overrun by invaders. That is the only story that I can recall from the book, although I remember illustrations of horses being in it too.

Can you please help me figure out which book I am thinking about?

Biker 1: Man, I love the spokes on the wheels of bikes so much, they’re just so strong despite being so thin!

Biker 2: Well, if spokes are so great, why isn’t there a Spoke 2?

Biker 1: Actually, Spoke 2 is coming out in September, they just announced it yesterday!

Biker 2: Ah, spoke too soon.
