I have to travel a bit for work via car and I've always wondered even on existing roads that have been around for years; you'll go out and see them cutting a set of uniform slits and then filling them in with asphalt even on concrete roads.

These sometimes are restricted to a single lane on a dual lane highway, or can span multiple lands on a highway. The width of the cuts are either the size or 2 or so tire widths, or 1.5 - 2 car lengths. They will be uniformly spaced out on the road. with 100s of them in a section.

It doesn't look like it's for utility work or road repair. What are they doing?

When using the Advanced Cruise control feature on long drives, the truck is constantly nagging me to keep my hands on the wheel, even though I have them on the wheel. The truck seems to want me to actively fight it, or wiggle the wheel every 30 seconds or so on long drives.

I've had Rentals with similar features, and they never nagged me like how my Ranger does when it's in the little blue bubble. It does it on long straight aways usually. (Also the Auto Speedlimit will randomly just decide to change speeds usually dropping to like 45 for a blip and then back to 65/70 along some long drives, which is also annoying.)

Is this a known issue with the Rangers? Or is this something I should be

As title suggests, Looking for an auto Litterbox, Ideally one that can handle 5 days of load from a single Adult Male Maine Coon. (a couple times a year I have to leave for work conferences, I have a pair of cat sitters that kept my old cat company in the AM and PM but litter duty is always a concern.)

My old cat had multiple boxes and would self manage the payload deliveries so it wasn't really an issue over one of the trips as long as I took care of it when I first walked in the door after hello pets, and while he was large for a normal cat (14lbs but not over weight) I hear MC deliveries are... just as large as their personalities. I'm also warry because of horror stories from auto lit

Just came back after a break before the heavy guns rework, love the new expansion but I keep running into specific enemies that I can't kill. usually a single raider. Last night I had a grunt hunt, and the target baddie was the one that wouldn't die. Could get them to 0 health but no matter what I did I couldn't kill him. Is this a bug or am I missing something (like they can only be killed by melee?)

Over Christmas my Dad hit me up with an interesting problem he's having on their Mustang Convertible. It's a 2004, Convertible. They've had it since new, garage kept, Car is 100% stock including the radio.

Lately what's been happening is after he drives it, sometimes the radio won't turn off after he gets out and ends up draining the battery. (He claims that it might also be turning itself back on but is less sure of that.) He's been told that it's probably the radio failing, but I've seen other posts where aftermarket radios either don't fix the problem or has the same issue after a while, making me think it's unrelated to the radio itself.

Last time it happened he was laying in bed and k

Not sure what's up but my bloodied PA build is a lot more squishy than it used to be. One thing I'm seeing is that Born Survivor is simply not triggering automatically like it used to. Yeah it could get kinda spammy but now I watched my health drop under 20%, down to 15%, 5%... and just never triggered the stimpak. walked around my camp with it that low for 120 seconds and not a single trigger of the perk. Nerd rage would trigger though.

Also I've noticed I'm a lot squishier than I was yesterday. I take way more rads in PA and way more damage in general. only adjustments I've made with the new perk changes was moving 3 luck (now 12) over into end so I could move a couple of perks back in

Based on my experience, and the bugs reported in the report thread I've come up with a method that has so far avoided the "forever caravan" that times out.

Note that there are at least two routes where the brahmin looks like it's running into a pathing error every single time, and if you just leave it alone it resolves it. Those two areas are the Red Fire Truck section where it will reverse and climb the ledge and the other is down a slope with a curve where the caravan will cut through the hillside. From what I can tell it does it every single time and might be part of the actual path, a single person using hurry once or twice (not spamming it) will get through those hiccups every time ju

Jumped on after the update to start running the hunt for gifts, after killing my first two Holiday scorched and grabbing the holiday gifts they didn't show up in my "New" tab. Couldn't find them at all in the proper tab either. After playing for a bit they showed up at least in the proper tab. Same was for the plans that they gave me. Sometimes they show up in new, other times they just vanish for a while and then the game decides to show them in the notes tab.

On the subject of plans, if you have multiple and you click on them to learn them, they seem to ALL disappear. Suggest storing the multiple plans before learning them. (Not sure if the ones that disappeared have reappeared yet in my

So I've completed the main quest and the other associated tasks with it. I seem to remember reading about a few other side quests outside of the main story mission but not sure where they are (or if they even exist.)

I recall something about a scavenger hunt? I think it might be related to the pioneer scouts? Mostly just seeing if there's any new side quests or daily missions that were added that I'm not seeing and might need to go and trigger to get started!

I'm a Day one player that took time off after getting 500+ hours in the game. I come back mostly due to the new series, the maps been tweaked with the new factions scattered about and new mob spawns.

I ended up having to change my camp defenses so that I wouldn't agro a nearby raider camp, and now instead of dealing with a scorch mob attacking from the East of the camp in my original kill zone, I have Mirlurks attacking from the river to the west. No big deal, Isolated the spawn points, created traps at those small spots to deal with the mobs that spawn when players enter the draw distance of the camp.

My camp has 3 unlocked Water filters, full work stations, vendor, rad shower, secure c

I figured I'd do a post to share some tips/tricks that I've picked up over the years that have helped reduce workload on the lawn. Budget range for these tips are as low as $5 and as high as $30ish.

This is not a comprehensive weed control guide. There's already one of those out there:

Instead these would be the 'next' steps in maintenance that help save time.

1.) Spray bottles are awesome!

At just about any big box store you can get individual, or packs of clear empty spray bottles for anywhere between $2 - 10 bucks.
