Patch Notes:
I am using the Ryzen Balanced plan, latest non-beta BIOS, latest chipset drivers. Frequency is just stuck at 3800 after I turn the pc back on after sleep. Additionally, when I put it to sleep, it won't wake from keyboard/mouse input, which makes me wonder if sleep is configured for too deep a C state.
I've fooled around with some BIOS options relating to sleep, but what I fiddled with didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this?
OH THANK TITS THE JUICE WAS IN THE MAILBOX TODAY
I WAS GOING TO SPIN A MURDER
Combed wick with a japanese cotton pad. I'd been having trouble getting the wick to make solid contact with the coil and not be thick enough to clog the wick channel. Combing it out until it was DIAPHANOUS towards the bottom, and using the standard short dangle genny wick length got it pumping juice up the wick like a firehose. Curved needle nose tweezers will be your best friend for the combing and wick-hole-stuffing process.
I had to open the airflow to full lung hit and cranked it up to 40 watts on a single, standard 26ga spaced coil. It's like I have a totally new atty.
I've finally found something I like better than my origenny. Velocity deck is a no-brainer, but I've not even bothered with dual coils because the single coil setup is so satisfying. There were some initial wicking problems using Koh Gen Do, but a cotton bacon + spaced coil setup kicked them squarely in the shins (thanks, u/Motherhead).
Airflow options on this tank are brilliant at each end of the spectrum - I've never had a tank that transitions so well from restricted to full lung hit. It won't go all the way down to a k.loud sort of 3-atoms-wide-airhole hit, but anything above that is achievable and well executed.
The default drip tip is a solid meh. it does, however, come with a nice
I'm staring so hard at my ASUS router right now.
Good luck to all the sysadmins out there.
That Avoton board was cursed. IPMI never exactly worked properly, and proved to be its undoing in the end. First, the IPMI web interface stopped working. When I finally picked up an SSD for it and went to mess with the OS installed, the video out crapped out as well. Brick city.
Problem: I have 4x8gb of nice DDR3 ECC DIMMS I want to reuse. I don't want to buy Asrock again, so that leaves me with the $450 Gigabyte avoton board if I want to get a replacement where the RAM fits.
Possbile solution: I'm thinking to go with an AMD AM3+ setup instead because CHEAP, I have a non-MiniITX case I can use, and there are boards which will take 32gb of ECC.
Can anyone give me tips on a setup? I don't h
