I've played some CPR's in the past, but not in years. But I decided to give Kingmaker a shot.
I've read a few reviews that say it's possible to completely mess up your game. Can anyone fill me in on things you think I should know so I don't mess it all up?
Also, are there any specific settings I should or shouldn't be using?
I'd like to play as a Monk. Is that a viable class?
Is there anything you wished you knew as a new player that you'd like to tell me?
I would really appreciate any info, opinions, or feedback from you all.
Edit: This is awesome feedback. Thank you everyone!!
Is the premium time you get from a loot bag activated when you click the loot bag? Or is it activated the next time you log in?
Do they last until something sets them off? Or is there a timer where they go away?
Can I still purchase MC or a pack and get the new Urbie? Or am I too late?
I picked up Skyrim a few years ago, but I've never had time to play much. of it. But now I do.
I played maybe 5 hours total so far, but it felt dated (obviously because it is dated, I know). I want to update it with a Wabbajack pack.
I know a lot of people will tell me to play an unmodded version first, but this is likely the only chance I'll ever get to play (due to time restraints coming back in two months). But I want upgraded graphics, more interesting melee gameplay, more magic variety, quality of life improvements, and other goodies that mods provide.
What pack would you all suggest I use for my playthrough?
Is there anything else I need to know before jumping in?
This recently dropped for me. It's a ring with armor on it.
How exactly does that work? Is it like a belt, where it applies the armor to every hit I take, no matter where that hit lands?
Why do some Legendaries have these words in front of them, and some don't?
I've heard that Eye of Reckoning is fun to level with. But I'm concerned I may have too difficult of a time with some endgame bosses. Does anyone know if this is viable for that content?
Also, I don't have a build yet either. So if anyone knows a good EoR Archon builds I would appreciate any info/tips you have.
Sometimes I want to stop them early to do something else, but I don't want to miss out on and completion bonus there may be. Does anyone know if completing them gives a bonus of some sort?
Sometimes I miss the notifications at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to see a history of these notifications? Like a message log or something.
I've had my eye on this game for a while. Now that it's on a 75% off sale on Steam I'm considering purchasing. But I'm reading a bunch of stuff on how the framerate tanks in larger parks.
Hearing that put a bad taste in my mouth about it, so now I'm having 2nd thoughts. I have a medium-high end PC, but I've heard that doesn't matter much because so much of the internal calculations use the CPU instead of the GPU.
What have been your experiences with frame rates and larger parks? I'd prefer not to artificially lower the max number of people allowed in the park, even though I've heard that is the best solution to not getting framerates as long as 10 fps in very large parks.
I would certai
I just picked up Pathfinder: Kingmaker on Steam. I've heard a little bit about how campaigns can go bad very easily. As a brand new player, what should I know about this in order to not need to restart for "bullshit" reasons?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Followup question: Are there any mods that greatly enhance the gaming experience?
