I Need Advice

I just have this compulsion to automatically left swipe any woman who mentions jesus, the office, or football in her profile and it's basically killing me.

Don't get me wrong I don't want to date anyone who finds any of those three things important, I just want to know what to do to keep them from showing up in my queue.

So, living relatively close to the world's biggest airport that is also the home base hub for one of the world's largest airlines, you can imagine I see quite a lot of travelers come up on my apps, these folks are not the ones I'm talking about per-say. If it shows their location as Hartsfield Jackson International Airport I assume they are just passing through and left swipe. But I've also come across a lot of flight attendants, and professionals, who may be based out of Atlanta and are in town 3-4 days a week but gone the rest of the time. But for whatever reason, I just can't ever bring myself to swipe right on them. I know they probably make okay money and a lot of them seem to really li

So I've come across about 30 profiles in the last couple of days with this phrase in them... is this some kind of new weird trend I'm just too old to understand? Has anyone else come across this? To quote Frankie four fingers: "Bubby, I probably know a lot you don't". I doubt they want to know about my extensive knowledge of 80's anime, or kaiju movies or British comic books... and I also doubt they are looking for a cooking lesson or some boy-scout knot tying sessions... so what exactly does it mean? If you want a tutor to help you learn python youtube is that-a-way.

So just kinda feel the need to ask this. I get it, I live in the bible belt so it's to be expected I guess, but it seems like just about every women I see on a dating app (and it's particularly bad on Hinge, Bumble and Coffee Meets Bagel) has some thing about how much she loves Jesus, or loves the lord, and how she's looking for a guy who feels the same. And don't get me wrong, I don't really have anything against that... but it just seems like if that's what you're looking for wouldn't looking for a partner at church or religious retreats or like I dunno freaking Christian Mingle be a better option?

It's almost as ubiquitous as loving the office and tacos.

So this is kind of a spin off of another thread on here, along with an article I just read about why Joe Rogan is so popular (who i'd heard of but didn't really know anything about him other than he comes up a lot in discussions about incels and conspiracy stuff) but it made me start wondering. Just how gendered is our consumption of media? I have a feeling the answer is going to be "very", but I'm not entirely sure how to address that or what that means in terms of dating? Generally in previous relationships I've had pretty similar tastes to my partners in terms of the kinds of things we both liked watching especially.

If I had to guess, for me personally, music is probably the one tha

So uh... aside from the Machu Pichu photos, sedated tiger pictures, and pictures with a villages worth of children in the developing world, and since I'm in the south at least one of their photos will always be inside of a college football stadium. But, since they always like to stay in as much as they go out, I felt I needed to address this elephant in the room: My question isn't why do people rewatch Friends, The Office, etc? (though, I never found them to be particularly funny, but apparently lots of people do as they are the two top watched shows on netflix and the news that netflix was losing them caused their stock to plummet). But the question I have is... why do so many women (and I
