We've been providing food, water, and shelter for an outdoor cat. Yesterday, the tip of his nose was bright pink. It doesn't look like a puncture wound. It seems less pink today. What could this be? Should we treat it in some way?

Hi!
Is there a way for me to contact the admins directly?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, everyone! We would love Taffy to go to a good home where people will be nice to her and give her lots of affection. She's a black and white tuxedo with a tiny white patch on her chin and little white socks on her feet. If anyone would like more information, please send me a personal message. Thank you!
Hi! We have been feeding and sheltering a mother cat and her 2 kittens for months now. The younger kitty is very sociable, likes to be petted, and purrs. We have a special needs cat (adopted from the local animal shelter) so we couldn't adopt the kitten ourselves. We took her to the county animal shelter on Saturday and were sure she'll be adopted right away.
Today (Tuesday), I noticed that she wasn't assigned a cage and adoption availability date and called the shelter to inquire. They told me that she was agitated, bit the employee who handled her at intake, and is now labeled as aggressive. That means she won't be put on the adoption floor and could be euthanized. I called a local rescu
We've been feeding a mother cat and her 2 kittens from 2 different litters (one's about 10 months-old, the other about 5 months-old). We'd like to have them adopted to good homes. The local animal shelter is the easiest option but it's high-kill, and if they don't get adopted, they'll be put to sleep. The no-kill shelters have no space. The Humane Society doesn't accept stray cats; only cats who've been checked by a vet.
What can we do to get them adopted?
Any advice is appreciated.
Hi! Some threads have 10,000 or more comments, and I would like to be able to read all of them instead of only 200 to 500. How can I do that?
We've been taking care of a semi-feral mother cat and her 5 kittens ever since they were born about 6 weeks ago. We have a little shelter for them by our front door and provide food and water every day. The kittens still nurse on and off but also eat regular cat food.
Last night, I saw them nurse near our front door around 7 pm. When I looked outside around 9 pm, they had all disappeared.
Their mother has been walking around our little subdivision ever since and meowing. That tells me she has no idea where they've gone to.
Last night, while they were nursing, a group of neighborhood boys were playing loudly nearby; one of whom was walking a dog. I've asked them several times not to thr
My husband is a computer support specialist with expertise in various types of software and hardware here in the U.S.. His company was reorganized, and his department was made redundant. He has been applying for various positions and received invitations to apply from several others. They all want him to do tests which are a combination of math and logical puzzles, and the companies say they use the tests to decide who to invite for an actual interview.
Is this normal? How can my husband maximize his chance of being invited to an interview and getting an offer?
Hi, everyone!
She shies away from her food dish, doesn't want any wet food, dry food or treats, and gives me insistent loud meows.
After 3 days of her not eating, we had a vet appointment yesterday. They checked her out and ran a comprehensive blood test, urine culture test, and took x-rays of her abdomen. Her teeth are OK, she isn't congested, the doctor said her abdomen feels fine when she performed an external exam. She also told us that the blood test and the urine culture test are normal and the x-rays don't show any visible abnormalities in the abdomen.
We're stumped and have no idea what to do. They gave her appetite stimulant (ear cream) but she isn't showing any increase in app
Our 3 -year-old kitty eats Fancy Feast wet food but isn't consistently enthusiastic about it.
What brands and kinds of wet food would you recommend?
Hi, everyone!
A cute neighborhood kitty comes over for food pretty much every day. He has a dense grey coat and a pretty solid tail. Yesterday, I noticed that his tail is missing a band of hair in the middle, and the tail looks kind of hour-glass shaped because of that hair missing. It looks like it got rubbed off or squished off somehow.
What could be causing this? Did he get his tail caught somewhere?
Any advice and opinion would be highly appreciated.
P.S. We are hoping to tame him enough to be able to take him to an animal shelter pretty soon but we can't afford to take him to a vet as we already have a kitty.
