New owner of a Surface Laptop 7. Is there a way to change the scroll speed when using the trackpad? I see an option to change when using a mouse but it doesn't seem to apply to the trackpad. I've spent the past hour searching for a solution and cannot find anything. The current scroll speed is painfully slow and I might have to return the laptop if there's not a way to increase.

Anyone know why there are like a thousand cops converging on this building right now?

I bought a few stocks/ETF's for the first time last Monday on the recommendation of many people. I bought supposedly reliable ETF's like VOO and QQQM Since I've gained money two days and lost money every other day. I'm now down about $2.5K since I started. Trying to stay patient but is this normal?? Considering just eating the loss and pulling everything out because this just feels like gambling.

I'm in my mid 30s. 100% wfh, and my hobbies are mostly all introvert/indoorsy things. Friends I made from school years ago have all moved away. Only time I'm really around ppl is when I'm at the gym. I feel very socially isolated and just want to meet people somehow. Anyone who was in a similar situation have tips on how to meet people locally or make friends at this stage of life?

Had microsurgery 12/30/24. Pain at the incision is gone by I have a bit of increased sensitivity in the testicle on the operated side. Anyone else experienced this? Just hoping it goes away eventually.

Basically want to frame copies of my diplomas and keep the originals somewhere safe. Wondering if anyone has ever used any copy service to do this and if yes which one? I tried Fedex near me already but the copy didn't turn out so great.

Anyone know any luxury apt buildings within like 2 miles from downtown that have 1BR+dens? Been looking around for a few hours but only found a few so far. Thanks.

Just wondering how you guys do it. I've dated a hanfdul of people as a resident, and when life gets busy/stressul - my relationship is one of the first balls I stop juggling. Maybe I'm just very introverted but I dread having to spend my one day off with someone else. Has anyone else had trouble getting over this feeling that your relationship intereres with your life and getting better at your job?

If you have a compelling reason for wanting to move geographically, eg spouse matched several states away and you have kids, is it possible to transfer programs and bring your ACGME funding with you elsewhere, or does a program need to have its own open slot? eg if I wanted to transfer across the country to a residency that normal takes 5 residents every year, can I potentially bring my old program's funding with me so they have 6 in one class? Or do they absolutely need someone to drop out to create a slot so their number stays at 5?

Been considering looking for a 1 bedroom somewhere in the city for June or Sept 1. Does anyone think prices will be any cheaper than usual or will COVID have minimal effect? I imagine a lot fewer new grads will be looking to locate here during the summer and school might not even resume in Sept.

Hi, I am considering accepting a job in the south end, currently on a 1 year lease in an apt near St. E's Hospital in Brighton. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what the commute is like between these two areas at peak hours (7amish, 5pmish). Last week I checked google maps every day and it said about 20 mins, but half the city isn't working right now so I don't know if this guesstimate is accurate. Thanks.
