I'm fighting a strange issue and googling around doesn't seem to even get me in the ballpark on this one. Here's to hoping I'm missing something obvious.
The env - SPO, publishing site template, a document library with a couple list specific tags (choice fields).
The behavior - users with read only access open office documents in browser or desktop clients and close them again. Upon closing, the values set in one of those choice fields are removed leaving it empty. The others are unaffected as far as I can see. The document version is NOT updated. Manually changing these values does update version history as expected. The read only users are, as expected, unable to make any changes and sav
Hello exiles,
I've been playing for a little while now and I'm seeing some weird behavior I was hoping someone might be able to explain or help troubleshoot.
The setup:
- PC\Steam
- Dedicated server, hosted on site at my house
- Clients: myself (local, diff pc of course) and a handful of friends remote
The issue:
One of these friends is having arrows just plain bounce off enemies. It has the ricochet behavior as if he missed and hit a wall with that one accuracy perk.
The rub:
It doesn't happen to anyone but this one guy that I can see. I mean, maybe every once in a while an arrow goes wonky for me or the other guys, but it's not a regular occurrence.
And I can totally wa
Why is there no option to forfeit mid arena battle? Sometimes you just plain come up against teams there is no hope of beating.
Oh, you have a full squad of super raptors? Guess I'll just sit here and get beat like a red headed step child.
To be clear: I'm not all salty about the raptors or p2w people clobbering me. I don't really care about losing. I just want it to go faster when it is a foregone conclusion instead of having to go through the motions for no reason. I want to be able to get to the next battle and maybe have a chance instead of being a punching bag.
Is there some downside, gameplay-wise, to being able to concede victory to a superior team?
Just throwing this out there in case it helps anyone...
My wife put in a clicklist order earlier this week. When we got there, they had no record of the order at all. Long story short, the website said the order was complete, charged her card, and then lost the order entirely.
She didn't receive a confirmation email (which she should have noticed). But she was busy and when she saw that the card was charged it's pretty logical to think everything is in order.
She called their support folks who said "yep, we've been having problems with orders getting lost" and that "they're pretty sure management is aware of it, maybe someone should call IT" and that was that. A brief "it is what it is" c
Hello all,
I'm relatively new to AWS and have a VPC set up. I'm setting up adfs and web application proxies. With our on prem installation we just use windows nlb for load balancing between farm members. It's quite fast and easy to configure.
I thought in AWS I'd be able to reserve an address from the dhcp pool used by my vpc and do the same thing with nlb. But I can't find anything in there for that. And my googling has yielded nothing but people asking for the same thing and finding nothing.
I did take a stab at setting up an app elastic load balancer. But after more hours than I'd like to admit trying to set up a simple https handoff all I'm getting are tls negotiation errors manifest
I've seen a few posts recently with a report that simply says "FIX YOUR CSS I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TURN IT OFF THIS IS AGAINST REDDIT POLICY".
Firstly, this is an abuse of the reporting system. Admins have issued temp bans for this before. Nobody wants that, especially over something so mind numbingly stupid.
Secondly, if you have RES all you have to do is move your mouse waaaaaaaaaaaaay over to the right side of the screen and uncheck the box that says "Show this subreddit's theme". And if not, you can disable custom themes in your preferences. So you know, use the tools at your disposal.
Lastly, stop being a knob. Don't take your ignorant nerd rage out on other people. Message the mods if
I'm having some trouble with a workflow that has a lookup in it. There are no errors, so I think I must just be using something incorrectly.
The setup: a basic ticketing system with 2 lists that matter for this discussion - Cases and Subcategories. I'm working in sharepoint online.
Cases holds all of the info on a ticket. It also has lookup columns for categories and subcategories (we don't care about categories right this sec). Subcategories has a column with the subcat text (as Title) as looked up by the cases list, a column that pairs subcats to cats, and a person or group column that defines who should receive notifications.
The objective: Replace list item permissions so th
The objective: using jquery and jqueryui, retrieve calendar event details and format them into a nice html tooltip.
The approach: I'm scraping the page for calendar events, pulling the href out of the anchor child, using regex to strip out the ID and then retrieving the information I want via spservices. I format and attach the tooltip on return. It's all working fine when I run it manually from the console. My js is included via a text file in a CEWP that has links to all of my js and css files.
The problem: I need this to run after the calendar has populated. I cannot find any event that signifies that the calendar is finished loading. I've read about numerous approaches to g
You used to be able to take guns apart to recombine the pieces to get higher quality.
Is that just not an option anymore? Or is it gated behind some book about gunsmithing I haven't found yet? Or am I just plain blind and missing it in the new menu system?
I've been playing with a friend for a while. He has been hosting (P2P, not dedicated). We hit issues with things getting out of sync pretty regularly. We both drop and rejoin and that keeps is chugging along for a while.
Then his wife joined up too and things really got bad. Desync and massive lag spikes followed by disconnects happen a lot.
Googling around for a fix I found pretty much this exact problem outlined in a few threads on the 7D2D forums without any resolution. They made it sound like this was introduced in A10, and that 9 didn't have the problem. I saw a member of the dev team reply once... but past that it appears to have received very little attention.
I was wondering if an

In KF I could scroll and it would bring up my weapons but not actually switch until I left clicked. This was great if you had a bunch of guns and things were hectic.
Now when I scroll it just starts right into switching wep by wep. I just wanted to see what I was carrying, not drop my pants with wep switch animations as a scrake approaches. Is anyone aware of a setting or anything to recreate the old behavior?
Well, one out of like 10 will.
- I am browsing with RES in chrome
- I save a post (to reddit, not res)
- I pull up baconreader and after quite some time maybe one out of 10 things I saved will show up.
This is new behavior. Saving to my account and viewing with baconreader later always worked perfectly before. This has been happening for a week or so.
