Isolation near the USB-C end of my trusty charger finally went and I saw sparks. Still works but I'm cautious so I'm looking for a replacement now. I actually rather like the style of the charger since its length means it reaches basically everywhere in the room and the brick kinda roots it in place when using it and I'm using it for basically every device I have.

So I'm looking to just get an original replacement one. Since the specific model for the one I have is more expensive than the ones from other models on Amazon I wanted to ask if there's any differences between the charger models that all look the same or if I should just get the cheapest official one? There's also unofficial ones

Hello, I want to start getting my beard layered soon and I'm wondering if there's anything to look out for when choosing a studio, like types of lasers to look for etc. When I do eventually go would it be a good idea to get a professional shave by a barber beforehand instead of doing it myself due to problems I explain below?

My situation is that I can't shave daily because my skin is too sensitive but even when shaving with a blade as close to the skin as I can you can still see the cut off hairs clearly and I have very noticeable beard shadow. Plus no matter how careful I am I always manage to cut myself somewhere and because of my blood clotting disorder it bleeds for a pretty long time.

Posting this as a hail mary to see if anyone's maybe got something better than the board I'm getting otherwise.

Looking for a 65% (or 60%) aluminum keyboard in white, preferred the coating without or with very little glitter. Any accents or weights preferably matte black or grey, ANSI layout with 2U backspace preferred, backlighting and wireless neat but absolutely not a requirement. No knobs or screens.

Example boards would be the QK65v2 Classic, Neo 60 Core or Mode Envoy, but also others that fit the specifications of course.

Looking around the 200€ range. If I find nothing here I have a white Qk65v2 Classic with silver weight I can get pretty safely.

TL;DR at the bottom

So I have a 6.5 year old HDD still in my system that started making weird noises with my new case again unless I slightly push in the case, but since it's so old anyway and it and it's cables take up a lot of space I was thinking of modernising my storage setup.since Amazon has a few priced down rn in the sale.

Currently I have a 500GB M.2 NVMe for Windows and programs which is enough, a 1TB SATA SSD for games, 1TB HDD for data (including downloads and desktop folders, programming projects etc.) and a small SATA SSD for Linux dual boot.

I was thinking of starting by getting a 2TB M.2 for games since the 1TB is always annoyingly close to full and I've had to do a lot of

When shopping for AIOs I came across a lot that have a screen on the pump head that shows CPU utilization and other stats and connects to a USB header on the mobo. I'd like sich a screen in my PC but not in the AIO, can be a segment display for all I care it just needs to show a few utilization stats. I also want it to specifically connect inside of the case and not use HDMI or something. I don't mind doing a little bit of DIY, does anyone know if there's any products offering this or any way to DIY this with a cheap screen from Amazon?

Hey everyone

I want to build in the Fractal North Tempered Glass version with an AIO and a vertical GPU mount, however my GPU is a 312mm long Asus Prime 9070 XT.

This looks like it will cause some clearance issues. Assuming the radiator can't fit in the front where the fans are by default, it has to go behind the fans. The Flex 2 vertical GPU mount says it will shorten GPU length by 15mm. So 355 - 312 - 15 = 28mm for a radiator. This would make my current favorite, the Arctic Liquid Freezer 3, impossible as it has a 38mm Rad. My second favorite currently, the be quiet! Pure Loop 2 has a 27mm Radiator. That seems... very tight.

The other option is top mounted radiator, in which case RAM

I'm going to build a more "elegant" build in the Fractal North, the idea being using the white North with mostly black and silver components inside it, and with white cables as prominent accents. My current CPU cooler is the Pure Rock 2 Black and while it looks fine and performs fine, as my Ryzen 7 7700 "only" gets to 85°C. However while I know these temps are normal for Ryzen 7000 series, it does use the fan at 100% for this, I don't like the exposed fan-top look and would like to have some headroom because I wanna mess around with the PBO and have some headroom for future upgrades, and if nothing else have it run cooler at the same performance. This would also allow me to reuse the coo

So I managed to get a 9070 XT for MSRP, one small problem I have is that my old 750W PSU doesn't have enough(3) PCIe cables for it and I can't find a first party way to buy extra PSU cables from Seasonic. Even though daisy chaining the third connector should be fine (I think) I'd rather be on the safe side and considering my old one isn't ATX 3 I might as well get a new one and reuse the old one in something else. Now the only PSUs that actually have A tier rating and are from companies I trust are 850W. Would an 850W ATX 3 PSU be a good idea or should I just keep daisy chaining one of the cables, even when I', gonna be using cable extensions?

I managed to get a 9070 XT for MSRP thanks to a very nice individual and it happens to be an Asus Prime with 3 power connectors. However my Seasonic PSU only has 2 PCIe cables with it. Now the card has a 304-340w TDP and 2 cables with one of them daisy chained can deliver 375w, so it should be fine, just wanted to make sure if that is ok?

Also because it will look quite bad and I wanted to get cable extensions/white cables some time anyway I wanted to ask if there is a viable alternative to CableMod? I know they probably make quality cables but their sets also only have 2 PCIe cables from what I can tell and even configuring only the visible cables still comes out to over 100€.

Looking for an mATX case

Help me please!?

Hey everyone, with my PC upgrade I was also considering downsizing my case as even though I like my be quiet Pure Base 500 DX it is a bit big for my apartment. I originally wanted to stop and wait a bit and get an ITX board but I had to accelerate a bit and so because of the price and features went mATX instead, however I still want to go with a smaller case.

I've looked at a few cases and I'm gonna write my current favorites at the bottom.

Parts I have and would like to keep: Ryzen 7 7700 MSI B650m Gaming Plus WiFi Sapphire Pulse 7900 GRE Seasonic Focus GX 750W

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zwhHnp (not married to the cooler)

So what I want is a small case that ideally fits an ATX power

r/buildapc•

So I just got a CPU in an AMD game bundle and originally wanted to wait a bit to get MoBo and RAM but since I found out you need to install the part to get the game and I'm still on a different platform I need to accelerate my plans a bit and don't have as much time for research as I'd like. (I'd really like to start playing the game as fast as possible)

So I'll be using a Ryzen 7 7700 and a Sapphire Pulse 7900 GRE(3 fan 32cm) and was looking at maybe doing a small form factor ITX build in something like the Meshify Nano or Lian Li DAN and wanted to ask if that would work as far as airflow goes with my components, or if I should get an mATX board to be safer and get a not as small case inst
