I just watched another anti-masker video and I am pissed off. All these idiots seem to think their doctors letters protect them from being kicked out of a shop. I am a doctor and I have ZERO authority to tell a shop who they can and cannot refuse service to. My Mum was in a post office yesterday and someone did the whole "doctors letter" spiel. If anyone does this in your shop, ask who their doctor is and let me know. end rant

Edit: Just because my message was understandably misinterpreted by a redditor I want to clarify my stance. Shops SHOULD be able to remove people for not wearing a mask. Doctors should not have the authority to stop this.

Residency:

First off, we don't have a "residency". There are three steps to become a consultant. Intern year, Senior House Officer and Registrar. Collectively known as Junior Doctors or NCHDs (non-consultant hospital doctors). SHOs can be non-scheme (aka "stand alone jobs") or BST (basic medical specialist training) or CST (core surgical training). Registrars can be employed in a stand alone job or as a Specialist Registrar (SpR). Non scheme jobs are typically quite easy to get for EU people. There are a lot of great Pakistani and Sudanese doctors here. Places on any of the training schemes can be trickier to get onto for non-EU citizens. Consultant j

I have a relatively boring question. My phone (Sumsung A20e) within android OS automatically updated the app today and now I cannot pause barracks anymore. I'm always pretty careful about turning them off and on and it won't let me anymore. I'll never financially recover from this.

Has anyone else experienced this recently or in the past? Anyone found a solution.
