So, recently saw a post get popular here basically saying "is it normal that all of yall drive way over the speed limit, doing 70 in 55s?" and almost every comment was a variation of "who tf drives the speed limit, of course we're doing 70".

Louisville ranks number 10 on the most dangerous cities in the United States for drivers at 15 fatalities per 1000 people per year.

Do you guys just...not care about car accidents? Do you realize that you're driving 3000+lbs of material at 70mph that is ready to turn you into ground beef if you hit something hard enough?

I like to call myself a fan of trash fantasy, think stuff on Royal Road or progression/litrpg on Kindle Unlimited. Before TWOK, I haven't read any fantasy from a big name, epic or not. I'm no stranger to long series, though.

My first foray into Sanderson wasn't actually a novel. It was his podcast with Dan Wells. Intentionally Blank. I'll admit, I was a bit turned off from Sanderson due to his personal religious views, but listening to Intentionally Blank humanized him for me quite a bit. Brandon is incredibly respectful and intelligent, both socially and logically.

Howdy yall! I did a thread like this a few weeks (maybe months) ago, and helped a couple people out. The best one was someone messaged me about some speakers that ended up being worth about $200, then nonchalantly said they have another pair they think is worth about $50, but ended up being worth more like $2000!

I'm not here to buy anything, I just like using my knowledge and a bit of google-fu to tell you about your items, and it helps me out by expanding my knowledge base on what's worth money! (I buy and sell items, mainly from storage units as a job. No I don't want to buy your XYZ thing per rule 3)

I'm looking for a protagonist that is physically capable, but more of a smooth talking manipulative asshole.

I don't mind romance as a sub-plot, but nothing with that as the main focus, please.

Howdy yall! I had a couple people take interest in my post a few days ago, so I quickly made a discord server with some roles and channels.

We don't have any books chosen yet, but we will as soon as we get some more people in here! It's currently just me and one other person.

Focus will be on fantasy books, with some science fiction thrown in if they fit the bill. I originally used books such as Dungeon Crawler Carl, Cradle, Primal Hunter, Azarinth Healer, The Good Guys.
Generally action fantasy is what I'm into but considering it's more than just me, get your opinion in!

I think it'd be cool to get some local people for a book club specifically for progression fantasy, litrpg, and similar genres. We could meet in person, or I would be willing to start up a Discord server it.

I know people will assume this is in bad faith, but I assure you it's not. I'm a vote blue no matter who kind of person. I believe the entire government has been corrupt for decades, but the Republican party has gone beyond corruption, driving headfirst into becoming an outright fascist criminal empire.

Back to the question. What's up with the protests? They don't seem to be doing ANYTHING to the current administration. If anything, the Republican party seems to be like a stew boiling, getting thicker and thicker, crazier and crazier as the heat is applied.
