TL;DR: Power amp relay won't switch, appears to not be getting enough voltage to turn it on. Relay power voltage looks to come from main transformers, but no output from transformers. Curiously, input to transformers looks to be DC, not AC, based on service diagrams as the same circuit runs through the relay coil and the transformers. Relay itself functional. Only obvious issue is failed capacitor (bulging end) in rectifier circuit from standby transformer. Service diagrams available just below the break.

Hello fellow modders;

I'm working on a major overhaul for myself using FO4Edit as the CK won't run on my computer (at least not well enough to use the world editor). I'm playing FO4 with mods on PS4, so no scripts or nothing either.

Having said that, there's a couple things I'd like to do (as much as possible) in my mod, but I'm looking for some guidance on how to achieve them. Specifically, if anyone has any guidance on:

- How to put conditions on weapons; specifically, I'd like heavy weapons (like miniguns) to only be used when in power armor.

- How to change the XP/leveling system similar to that used in Erez Kristal's Immersiv

Hello cruisers,

While I wasn’t planning on it, I recently picked up a pair of 6-spoke 28” mag wheels (currently with 37-622 or 700-35C tires on them) for an unbeatable price and have decided to build a cruiser based on them.

Having said that, the wheels have disc brakes that I’d like to use, and my goal is to have multiple gears in place of the single speed (I know, not a beach cruiser strictly speaking), but I have no idea if there’s any cruiser-style frames that have mounting points for disc brake calipers. I’d prefer a step-through as well, but that seems like it’ll be even harder to find.

Any suggestions? The other option would be to find a different frame that resembles a cruiser and

I know there's a number of posts on here asking begging for MOAR CLASSICS, particularly on console, but I was wondering how many people here regularly use the older equipment in-game. I've started and re-started a couple dozen save games, and every single time it's the same thing: buy older equipment, build my farm, buy more older equipment, make some money, buy slightly nicer old equipment, rinse and repeat.

I've been running the European maps recently, and I've been predominantly using the Fiat/Fiatagri, Deutz-Fahr, or Fendt small/medium tractors from the 70's and 80's (although I believe there's a couple of 90's large Fendt tractors available that I have yet to use), th

Hello Audio Repair peeps;

I was looking for a community to post this to, and this seems like the best place; I've taken a look at the Wiki, but couldn't see anything there that resembled my issue, and an internet search has come up with nothing, so I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I'll try to be brief, but here's as much relevant info as I can think of:

- The unit is a NAD CI 9120, which is a 12-channel amplifier (probably designed for commercial or multi-room installations).

- Once plugged in, there is a rear toggle to change the unit from "OFF" to "STANDBY", used to turn the unit off for long term.

- Once in standby, there are three options to turn t

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to bi-amping/bi-wiring, although I understand the concepts behind it. While I can't imagine bi-wiring actually giving better performance than using a single pair of larger gauge speaker cables (and replacing the terminal bridge/link with good quality copper), I am thinking about bi-amping my speakers.

To keep this brief: I have a multi-channel amp that I'll be using for a 5.1 home theatre/2 channel music setup, running from a preamp/processor. While I suspect having the additional power for each of the speakers may be beneficial, my concern is that the power amp only has two transformers, and therefore the signal will likely not be

TL/DR: Does anyone know the real-world units for projectile/weapon range and speed values, and is there a way to make weapon modification trees (e.g., barrels, magazines) dependent on receiver/caliber type?

Hey all,

I've managed to get FO4Edit working for me, and have pushed a WIP mod for myself to Bethesda in order to test it out (I'm a PS4 player only, unfortunately). So far, I'm happy with the way the edits are turning out, although my aim is a realism-based complete overhaul, so I'm delving a little further into the edits.

Having said that, my current focus is on ammunition/projectiles, particularly with modification of speed, range, and g

TL/DR EDIT: FO4Edit > Creation Kit (for gameplay mods)

Hey all,

I'm going to make this short and sweet: I want to put together an all-in-one mod for myself to run on PS4 based on some of the things I've loved/hated from other gameplay overhaul mods. I have a pretty good idea of how I want the game to run, and I believe most of what I'm looking for is in the Game -> Settings... menu option. However, that list is huge, the window is tiny, and the values don't actually show up in the value column (I have to click into each item to get the numeric value).

Anyway, what I'm hoping to do is import/export that entire l

Hello fellow Modders;

TL/DR: I have a pair of Yamaha HP-1 cans that I want to 3D print some ear cups for in order to go circumaural and install detachable cables. However, I'd also like to boost the vocals in the upper male/lower female range. Getting the drawings done and the cups made is not a concern, but I'm curious whether I can make changes to the internal volume/profile of the cups in order to boost that 1 - 5 kHz range (I assume) without losing too much of the detail that the current setup has, and whether anyone has any suggestions on how to achieve that.

Hello all,

Is there a difference in frame strength between youth bicycles and adult frames? I'm wondering if the tubing and welds used on youth frames are comparable to those on adult frames, more specifically on mountain bike frames with rear suspension. I assume most manufacturers simply reduce the dimensions but use the same supplies and manufacturing processes when creating a youth version of an adult bike.

I'm looking at picking up a youth frame for an ongoing project for myself, as I can't find anything suitable in a full-size, but would like to make sure the frame itself will be solid enough.

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking at building a Frankenbike for myself, and was wondering if there's an easy way to determine the bottom bracket drop on a bare frame (without a fork). I've got access to a number of inexpensive frames that I can pick through to find the right one for my needs, but several of them don't have forks and I don't want to go through the hassle of tossing a fork onto them one-by-one to take measurements, or trying to use an angle finder to level the frame prior to measurement.

I'm mostly looking for something that has no or negative BB drop, so even being able to eyeball whether the BB is above or below the axles would be sufficient for creating a short list, at which poin

TL;DR: Can I use FO4Edit to tweak/combine existing mods (and make my own values for attributes) for console without owning FO4 for PC? Also, can I install them privately on my own console, or do I need to publish them through Bethesda?

Hello all,

As the title implies, I'm interested in making some mods for the console, although I don't actually have a copy of the game on PC. My mod list on console (PS4) currently has 100/100 mods downloaded, and over 90 mods running at once, although a number of them are gameplay mods that don't really have any visual aspect to them (e.g., NPCs use ammo, no healing from food, change timescale, no legendary spawns). Unfortunately

Hello all,

Figured I'd post this here to see if there's any folder-specific info, although I may end up cross-posting to r/bicycling, r/BicycleEngineering, or r/bikewrench.

But, as the title implies: has anyone used a wide-range MTB cassette (e.g., 11-36, 11-40) on a folder? I'm on a Dahon Speed P8 (2011-2012, I believe) that currently has an 11-32 cassette and a 53 tooth (I believe) front chainring. The high range works fine for me, but I need a lower gear for some of the hills around here, and I don't want to adjust my entire range by changing the chainring.

The only real concern I have is with the size of the largest sprocket (if I go with 40 t
