I asked a friend of mine to recommend me some songs from another band that I know he likes. He sent me a playlist consisting of his three favorite songs from each album. It got me thinking what my list would look like if I did the same with PUP. Difficult task. Here's what I came up with. 15 songs, my three favorites (in no particular order) from each album.

  1. Guilt Trip
  2. Reservoir
  3. Dark Days
  4. DVP
  5. My Life Is Over...
  6. Familiar Patterns
  7. Free at Last
  8. Scorpion Hill
  9. Full Blown Meltdown
  10. Totally Fine
  11. Matilda
  12. Bankruptcy
  13. Concrete
  14. Hunger for Death
  15. Hallways

Self-titled was easy for me, the rest was tricky and I'm really not sure about some of th

Got put on Urso yesterday and so far I'm experiencing hoarseness a couple of hours after taking it. And a strong need to clear my throat but with no effect. Also just very dry mouth in general.

Don't see these symptoms listed as known side effects. Anyone else with a similar experience? Just curious.

Had a liver biopsy two days ago. I'm still under investigation so I haven't got a formal diagnosis yet.

I must say the liver biopsy wasn't that bad at all. No sedation, just local anaesthetic. I don't think the pain was too bad, and now I'm just feeling a little bit sore but definitely manageable.

One thing that got me a bit confused though. She wanted me to practice on my breathing first, being able to stop at her cue. We did it a couple of times, but when she actually did the biopsy she never told me to stop breathing. Did she forget? Or maybe thought it wasn't necessary for whatever reason? Anyway, I guess if something went wrong I should have noticed it by now.

First show of the European tour! The first they're playing here since 2013, and that's the last time I saw them.

Now, last night my kid started vomiting and it turns out he has the stomach flu. My chances of making the show on Wednesday are looking slim. It seems more likely I'm going to be hugging the toilet bowl by then. Pray for me 🙏

Now that "Unraveling" has been out for a while I think I can get myself to rank the 4 albums. They're all very good in their own way but if I had to chose I would put them in this order.

  1. The Dream is Over

I think this is the album where they really found themselves as a band. It captures all of the things that make them unique, and has some great standouts.

  1. The Unraveling of PUPTHEBAND

Honestly, this album could challenge for the number 1 spot if it weren't for the noisy production. But a lot of great songs like Totally Fine, Waiting and Bankruptcy.

  1. Morbid Stuff

A very good album but doesn't quite have the level of standout tracks that "TDIS" or "Unraveling" have. Perso

Hi!

I'm coming to Copenhagen this weekend for a quick visit. I've been here a few times before but it's been quite a few years now. So I'm looking to update myself on the best craft beer bars and stores in the area.

I'm familiar with the various Mikkeller bars but also looking to check out Himmelriget and BRUS this time. Any other cool suggestions?

When it comes to bottle shops, which ones has the best selection? I'm familiar with Mikkeller and Friends in Torvehallerne and Kihoskh but I'm sure there are several others who might be worth checking out. Happy to hear your thoughts on this subject.
