Hi,

I do endurance karting races and we currently have motorcycle intercoms installed into our helmet.
We have a pair of this: https://www.amazon.com/EJEAS-Motorcycle-Snowmobile-Communication-Interphone/dp/B078S67GK2/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1LANH9LFZBJJI&keywords=ejeas+v6+pro&qid=1695119994&sprefix=ejeas+v6+pro%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-3

It is basically a bluetooth transmitter, you can plugin via 3.5mm aux. (this system is in the helmet).
The other device is basically built in a headset diy style.

Hi,

Myself and my buddies are really enjoying ourselves doing endurance races. While hand gestures work just fine most of the time, we have lost crucial times since we were unable to communicate with each other.

Now we are looking to put communication in our helmets. Someone we know has the EJEAS modules. 2 modules are paired with each other over bluetooth. Both have an input for a 3.5mm jack. My idea was to simply use my HyperX headset, plug it in the other module so that I can use my hyperX to talk to the driver. I recently picked up karting as a new hobby. The track is nearby but it is indoor and it is in a rural area. I tried recording with my GoPro but it has no GPS connection so not much I can extract.

I searched the subreddit and came across mychron (must be attached to the kart, which is tricky on rentals) or racebox mini. Would these be any better? Everything seems GPS based. Would they work better on an indoor track?

Any recommendations? I would really like to improve my laptimes.

Hi BEFire,

My fiance and I currently own a house (with mortgage). We plan to upgrade in 10 years time without taking out an extra loan.

Question is mainly, where would you park the money you save for this bigger house

  • Regular savings account
  • Etf like I do for my personal savings (IWDA + EMIN)
  • Bonds

Any suggestions are welcome

Hi,

What is your take on my situation.Currently full time employed as an IT consultant (could be anything but for privacy reasons I leave it like that :) ). Working here for 2 years now and that is also my total experience.

Working there for couple of years now. More senior profiles here are freelance but are basically full time employed. Pretty much everyone who is freelance has been with us full time for at least 5+ years.

Now that opportunity is something they can offer me too, it was always my goal to become freelance after 5 years or so, then I have the expertise. I can do it sooner now while still building my knowledge and would still be at my current employer full time but as a fre
