Before this, I had never seen how BJJ works and I was expecting something more similar to Karate or Tae Kwondo, but watching him rolling on the ground with other females, at a glance, appeared very sexually charged and it l me with an ick in my gut.

I have struggled with severe jealousy issues in the past and have come a long way with them, but watching him in those positions was very unpleasant.

Now, like I said, this is the first time I've ever actually seen how BJJ works and apparently it's not sexual at all since men do the exact same.

This isn't about me thinking he would sleep with these women - it just wasn't what I was expecting and I was shocked and my stomach dropped a bit.

So.

I've reconnected with someone I used to date and we've been talking a lot. They recently asked me about my roommate who is the opposite gender. My roommate is objectively attractive and a good friend, but not the one for me. Basically, the person I'm talking to expressed confusion as to why I'm interested in them and not my roommate and seemed to just want clarity on the situation before proceeding forward. When I explained that I'm not looking to date my roommate, they seemed understanding and dropped it. I've known this person for many years and they've always been the jealous type, but never abusive or controlling. Just a little annoying at times and could probably do with a boost in self
