I'm considering Rechtsschutzversicherung and trying to evaluate its usefulness. So how expensive it's usually to sue in Germany? Especially in cases of tenant rights protection and occupational law, like cases where firm or landlord violated regulations and there is not much to appeal or even can be sorted out pre-trial?

Does this calculator give realistic numbers? Do you have legal insurance or is it not worth it?

I've added fluthub to my software sources in F32, and now all the software available as both flatpak and RPM is being installed as flatpak by default.

There is a switch allowing to choose between sources, but I see no option to prioritize RPMs. So, how to enforce RPMs by default?

Since CentOS 8 comes out with the 4.19 kernel, and my app needs 5.2+, it seems I need a newer kernel. Does anybody use custom kernels/newer kernels? Does it play well with the rest of the distribution? Is elrepo kernel robust? Is elrepo well maintained?

I have a texture, which was created with

glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL_RED, width, height,
                         0, GL_RED, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, plane);

I want to use it in my compute shader with

glBindImageTexture(0, tex, 0, GL_FALSE, 0, GL_READ_ONLY, *internal format*);

Which internal format should I use in this case? Documentation says that

format must be compatible with the texture's internal format

, but this states that GL_RED could be one of many different integer and float representations.

It would be nice to digest the essential works on constructive mathematics and logic. Which works are the most interesting examples of the constructive view on math? Which ones could be the most interesting for a neophyte?

I have a function of type

val send : int -> buf -> 'a request -> 'a Lwt.t where 'a request is of some parametric GADT type.

let t1 = send x b Set in
let t2 = send x b Reset in...

works fine, but

let s = send x b in
let t1 = s Set in
let t2 = s Reset

causes a type error since Set has type 'a request and Reset has type 'b request. Why does this happen?
