Anybody have any cool challenge coin recommendations for a retired Navy Chief? Brother in law doesn’t have too many hobbies but loves to collect these and I don’t know enough about it to get him something he’ll appreciate for x-mas.

I’m regretting unlocking my BLP! Saw all the R50 posts and now I’m wishing I had waited a year. Anybody else wishing they had held out? I also just really like Garmin, I have one of their Fenix watches and had the G80 but sold it once I got my sim set up.

We’re trying to get Quail Valley built, but after that I’d like to get several of the more popular courses in the PDX/SW Washington area commissioned if we can get enough people. Is anyone on here using GSPro that would want to contribute to getting these courses built? I’ve been reaching out to men’s clubs, women’s clubs, and courses to see if any of their members want to contribute. Looking for at least 10 people, but would really like to get 20 to bring it to around $150/person/course ($3000ish to get a course built).

Anybody on here that uses GSPro and is familiar with Inkscape? I’m trying to do both Heron Lakes courses and I’m in the process of sketching it out and if I get any errors I’m not sure I’ll be able to troubleshoot it in my own yet

Does anybody else feel like they’re at an in-n-out waiting for their number to be called? I see people from May, June, and July getting decisions and I filed in early August… but I also think I ordered the VA equivalent of animal style fries so I’m sure I’ll be a month or so behind the standard for people that filed in August.

Got a gun off gun broker that I knew was going to be a little beat up but the pictures really didn’t show the issues with the metal on the receiver. Is it possible to replace the receiver? If I’m doing that I’d probably just replace the barrel too and learn an expensive lesson/probably should have just bought one new.

My friends and I went on an annual freezer filler trip to MT over the last couple years with B tags, but they changed the tag type from Public/Private to Private only. It wiped all of our research and made us cancel our trip this year. I emailed fish and wildlife but never heard back on what sparked the change. Anybody know if they’ll go back to private/public and what made them change it in the first place?

Is there anywhere that would do a straight trade for gold in exchange for silver? We don’t want to cash out, we just want something more compact.

I really REALLY want an sig pro or fiberbuilt mat but the sales on them haven’t been ‘pull the trigger’ worthy. Any idea on if they will have a Black Friday sale and, if so, what discounts we could be looking at?

Are there any PDX golfers on this sub that use GS Pro? Asking because the only course we have is Oswego Lake CC and I’d really like some of the nicer public courses in the area on there (Heron Lakes, Wildwood, Elk Ridge, Eastmoreland, Glendoveer East, Langdon, Pumpkin Ridge, Camas Meadows, OGA and the Reserve courses to name a few. Wouldn’t mind seeing clubs I’ll never play like Waverly, OGC, or Royal Oaks either). I’m following the YouTube videos and have been trying to get Heron Lakes made for about 7 months now but I have a newborn and I just don’t have a whole lot of time. So, I’m at the 10 business day waiting period for a lever gun that I purchased in Oregon. I called the store expecting to be able to pick up tomorrow or at least this weekend and get told they can’t release it to me for 30 days. I asked who I could call and they said the ATF. Anybody know what the hell is going on? I am getting my CCL renewed that lapsed a few months ago, but I thought that would help the background check part of the process go faster if it did anything at all. The day it’s released is the day I start my hunting trip that I bought it for… I already have hunting rifles I can use just pissed they’re stalling this for so long.

Hey guys, I’m pretty confused. I’m a Washington resident that purchased a lever action in OR and told I had a 10 business day waiting period thanks to WA state law. Well 10 days have passed, called the store and they said the system is telling them they can’t release the gun until next month based on the atf background tracker. Anybody know what the hell is going on? Was looking forward to using it for hunting season, I still have what I need to hunt, just flabbergasted that the gun isn’t being released. I am in the process of doing my CCL renewal but thought that wouldn’t impact the purchase and if it did, it would do so in a positive way.

Just picked up some SD II wedges, with military discount it was about $173/wedge which is the cheapest I’ve seen them. Wanted them when I got fit last year but couldn’t justify the cost/wedge, stoked to try them out!

My claims were moving relatively quickly, but I seem to be stalled out in Step 5. I’m planning to wait a few more weeks before I reach out, but is there a generally acceptable timeline that a vet should wait for before checking in on their claim? I thought after the evidence review things would move quickly, but never assume, right!
