I just told my partner that my therapist referred me to a doctor to get prescribed benzos for alcohol withdrawal, because I am probably going to have seizures if I stop without them... He said, "yeahhh.. I've been talking about Hogan too much, YouTube is recommending me videos about him, hahaha." What the hell. How do you do this sober thing when no one cares? I don't mean to sound dramatic, but literally, no single person aside from my therapist cares. And I'm really scared that I'll seize, because I haven't drank in over 24 hrs, yet can't see this doctor to help with that for 6 weeks. Honestly I guess I'm just asking, how did you care about yourself if no one else gave a frick, enough t

I (24F) called off of work today because my mom's husband, who has literally beat her so badly before she died temporarily in the hospital, he just fucked up again and my mom kicked him out. I'm so scared, stressed, and worried for her. I called off work today, because I want to put locks on her house and cameras. And I need to rest. I haven't slept in so long, I can't stay asleep because I'm scared he has hurt her again. He relapsed on meth and he has almost killed her before.
I called off of work, but I work through a temp agency, and I couldn't find the number for my job's representative. So I left a voicemail with H
My (24F) dx'd not yet medicated partner (32) is doing really well learning to manage his ADHD. I'm proud of him. However, he also has a TON of interests, hobbies, etc. And I love that about him. The problem I'm having, is that I have intense anxiety. You know how it can feel like being talked "at" instead of being talked "to" when a pwADHD is invested in a topic? It can quickly make my anxiety skyrocket. I sit and listen, but inside sometimes I am internally panicking after 30 minutes or longer of listening.
I'm not upset at him for this. I haven't told him to stop talking, or asked him to slow down, etc. because I don't want him to change his self expression around me. I want him to be co
Is 4,250 mg Trazodone mixed with half a bottle of wine in a 2 hour period lethal? Can't find much info on internet about overdoses. Asking for someone who is not myself, don't worry.
Edited to add***: apparently they also have taken 3mg (30 .1mg pills) of Clonidine as well, and 1.3 grams (26 50 mg pills) of Seroquel. Should I call someone and will they be able to survive this cocktail without medical intervention?

So, I just told my bf I drink before, during, And after work, more than anyone knows.. he said he doesn't want to know how much I drink, he said, "you keep your secrets." I was trying to reach out for a reason to get help. It doesn't affect my ability to do my job (job is stupid easy,) it hasn't had much of an affect on our relationship. But does he not care about the health consequences? Does he not care as long as I'm easier to deal with while I'm drunk? For reference, he has cheated on me, hit me on two occasions, he's in therapy now and I left for three months, he seems to have made honest changes... But why doesn't he care.. It reminds me of when I peed blood and blood clots for nine d
What are some possible causes I could suggest to my gyno to look into, as she has only done pelvic exams and basic blood tests? I am so frustrated, confused, and scared for my fertility. I have been bleeding from my hoo-ha for literally almost a decade. It started when I was 14, and I'm now 23. Has anyone ever had this happen, or heard of it happening to someone else? I can't find anything about bleeding for anything close to that length of time. I'm going in for yet another pelvic ultrasound next Tuesday (the PUS always comes back as normal, I don't know why she keeps doing that and ONLY that). I am pretty sure I ovulate only 3-6 times a year, maximum. It's happening less and less often. I
I am curious, has this happened to anyone else at a salon, but specifically Planet Fitness? I requested a 12 minute session. When I got in the bed and turned it on, they had set it for 8 minutes. That's 2/3 the time I requested. I believe they thought they were using better judgment than me. However, I do not burn at all and have upped my sessions to 12 minutes the last three times. It takes quite a bit of work for me to produce more melanin. Honestly I'm pissed and cancelling my membership tomorrow morning. Which they make a total hassle to even cancel. They didn't even have the cajones to tell me they thought 12 was too long for me, they just assumed I wouldn't notice. They're gung-ho on b
As well as having C-PTSD? If so, what is your treatment like? Are there antidepressant medications that won't trigger mania? How do you manage rage and anger attacks? Lastly, what route of therapy has worked the best for managing the symptoms of both simultaneously?
At least, that's what the YWCA light-up billboard stated as we drove past to pick up some weed, twenty minutes after you hit me. Love Shouldn't Hurt. You didn't love me when you lost count of how many times you hit me. You didn't love me when you said you wish you never met me. You don't love me when you tell me I need to get better if I want you to stop treating me like shit when I need support. It isn't love, it's possessive. You don't love me if you would kill yourself only if I leave you, after you have hurt me so badly so many times. You didn't love me when you said you would kill me, too. You don't love me, you love feeling like you "have" me. If you loved me, you would always respect
I (23F) know it isn't good to ask the internet about symptoms. But my doctor, I hate to say it, is incompetent. Like, laughed at me during a pelvic exam for being in pain the day after a s* assault kind of incompetent. So, I have to go wherever I can for any answers. When I was 11, my family was homeless and we had MRSA infections. Myself included. I had my period once during that year, and it was so heavy I bled through a bath towel on the toilet in like half an hour. I ended up passing out from the blood loss. I never saw a doctor bc my mom didn't care. After that heavy period, I didn't bleed again for a year. When my period came back, it was different. Ever since then, my periods are 1-3
23F 5ft7 120lb, I drink a couple times a month, I smoke cigarettes, weed, and I take Kratom. I am prescribed Lamictal. Three days ago, I was at work and smelled something that was just sprayed with brake cleaner, my nose was like an inch away from it and it stung my nose when I did it. My throat hurts a little, and my neck hurts on the sides, my eye got a red line through it when it happened and it hasn't gone away. My nose had a couple drops of blood after but I also have a cold sore in my nose so that could be why. I ha e some chest pain but I don't know if all my "symptoms" are just anxiety because brake cleaner is really bad for you. I took a small sniff of something that still smelled r
23F. I take Lamictal, an antiepilectic, so I haven't had any seizures but I think that would stop me from having one. I punched myself four times in the temple three days ago and it feels weird now. It hurts ofc, but there's also a tight pressure and a pulsing pain, it's worse if I clench my jaw or smile. If I brush my fingers on the area it hurts, if I push it hurts and feels even tighter. It feels like it's being squeezed on the side I hit, in front of my ear. I didn't lose consciousness, my pupils still respond to light. Is the pressure feeling normal after blows to the head, and if I decide to see a doctor, should I go to the urgent care clinic instead of the E.R.?
How much of your symptomology resembles a trauma response? Is it like going through the turmoil of traumatic events, but even when you are safe? Did you have those symptoms before or only after experiencing a traumatic event? Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer. I hope you're all feeling okay and having a good day.
