Hello all,

I'm participating in an Art History course, and today we started talking about Mannerism, and thus, Pontormo's Entombment (or Deposition from the Cross).

I managed to start a bit of a kerfuffle with the professor, because she contradicted what our textbook said about the crouching man in the center foreground. Our text unequivocally states that he is wearing a "skin-tight pink shirt", but my professor insists the text is wrong and that the artist deliberately painted his torso and right upper arm pink.

After some Googling, it appears most interpretations agree with the text (it is a pink shirt), but I w

I keep reading that "you only get 3 chances to upgrade gems", and that "gems can be leveled to 25".

This doesn't seem to make any sense, unless gem upgrades skip lots of levels when you upgrade them. Even then, it seems like a really restrictive system that makes me not want to upgrade gems until I know exactly what I want.

Or, does this mean "You only get 3 chances to upgrade gems per GRift completed"? Or per character? Or per account? I can't find anything anywhere on this, and I don't want to waste my only 3 chances by experimenting.

I played DIII when it first came out for a few months, stopped, and recently downloaded Reaper of Souls and started playing again on my Wizard.

I came here hoping for some help, but it's been incredibly frustrating as I feel like I am reading another language MM RoS EB EE CC CHD?????

What I'm asking is,

Can someone who knows what all the acronyms mean, make a post so it can go on the sidebar so there is a reference for people who are still learning to speak Diablo III Wizard Acronym?

Edit: Downvoting a text post asking for a link that would be helpful for new and returning Wizards alike? Geez guys...

Edit 2: If this post stays positive and nobody posts a resource, I'll make one myself

Does anyone know if this is the case? With the sudden announcement of the all-too-near release of another BL game, I'm nervous that some shortcuts might be taken on the writing/story/lore side of things.

Can anyone soothe my fears?

I'd like to start this post by thanking all of r/Anarcho_Capitalism for being a fantastic doorway into the world of statelessness - you all have been indispensable with regard to my intellectual development in the realm of political philosophy.

Now, on to the hard part.

Mutualism and related individualist anarchist thought has been poking its head into this subreddit and thus my studies in political philosophy. In addition, it has come to my attention that despite (or perhaps due to) the beautiful focus on governmental skepticism that pervades this community, there is perhaps an under-examined sector of illegitimate power that could use quite a bit more attention.
