I’ve [f35] repeatedly told this specific coworker [m39] not to talk to me this way, he will mock what I say in a “special ed” voice. We get along well besides this, he does it to other people but I’ve told him it bothers me and asked to not speak to me that way. One morning I came in and he said it first thing in the morning in response to my hello. I literally started to cry. Then I told my supervisor [m71] why I was upset and he brushed it off stating that he is just being silly. Well this morning I did it to him just to be a jerk and he said he wasn’t going to talk to me like that anymore. Then this afternoon he didn’t in front of me to another coworker, while my supervisor laughed

We have a contracted company doing work for our company right now. I’ve noticed they show up late and leave early but didn’t mention it because I don’t care. They write down their time, not clock in, so it’s on them to be honest. Two of their employees are off on spring break and came into work around 9. One of them (jake) said that he was told by the other contracted employees they start at 10 and he was going to leave and come back, he only showed up because he didn’t know the start time. I was talking with another employee (not contracted) and repeated what Jake had said. I said they are starting at 10, taking an hour and half lunch (because that’s what I observed) and leaving at 4. this

I have a particular friend who, for the last 3 months, has been very difficult to get ahold of. He lost his job due to not showing up and not calling. He pulled this several times until the boss finally said he was done covering for him especially because he never gave a reason for not calling or coming to work. I have asked him to hang out and he seems excited and willing to. He has even suggested hanging out and things to do. But the day we were supposed to get together he won’t call or respond to me. When literally the night before we had a nice conversation and he said he would call in the morning. He is very shy and quiet. I worry about his mental health mostly and wonder if bothering h

I have a friend whom I have known for about a year now. We used to work together, until he was a no call no show for days on end during the last 2 months of his employment there the boss finally said enough was enough. He would be gone for days straight without any contact then show up like nothing happened. Apparently this flaky behavior presents itself in other ways as well. I asked him out last weekend to hang out either Friday or Saturday this weekend. I didn’t specifically call it a date but he knew it would just be the 2 of us and he asked me if we could get dinner as well. He seemed very positive and willing to go. We talked on Wednesday and he was still down to hang out. I called hi

Twenty minutes later he texts me saying his friend from out of state just got to town and if we could hang out Saturday instead so I said ok. He called me later Friday evening, we chatted about hanging out the next day, we played a quick video game then he said h

We had a date planned for tonight. I had just confirmed we were still on, he seemed excited and about fifteen minutes later get a text asking if we can reschedule for tomorrow because his friend just came into town from another state and was coming to his house. When we were planning the date, I did give the option of Friday or Saturday but agreed on Friday. Would you give him the benefit of the doubt or assume he isn’t interested? First date.

There is a man I work with whom I have liked for about year and a half now. We work at a resort. When I first met him he never mentioned a wife or girlfriend. I was dating someone at the time but we were very on/off, mostly because he had cheated on me early in our relationship, but that is a different story entirely. This particular coworker, Matt, was always flirty towards me, although he is very friendly with everyone. Early on, the boss mentioned Matt’s wife, who happens to be the bosses niece. Matt later explained to me that they are not actually married but have been together for 17 years and have a teenage son together. The way he described their relationship was more cohabitating tha
