STOP moving the Continue button!

Re: Screens at the end of each lesson. DUOLINGO: Please stop moving the Continue button to the left. It’s very annoying. I know you want to promote sharing, so you replace Continue with Share. I’ll share when I want to, but I usually just want to move on to the next lesson.

How about adding a feature like Hold the Continue button to skip to the end? That would be great when I want to speed through lessons!

Swiss Railway Clock?

I'd love to see the Swiss Railways clock on Clockology. Apple tried to use it as a face on the original Apple Watch, but the Swiss complained and they had to remove it.

French Units 78 & 79 very similar?

Discussion

Took the exam to jump over Unit 78 and then 79. Was surprised that about ⅓ of the questions were the same in both jump tests! (verbatim or same vocab)

I’ve noticed a lot of overlap in all Lessons, which is normal, and also from Unit to Unit (also normal since it’s cumulative). But I expected the Jump Test to focus on specific things we would learn in the Unit that I skipped.

All of this is just an observation.

Note: [it’s not necessary to read this part] Sometimes I try to jump as many Units as I can, until I fail an exam. I can do that in French and was able to do it in early Spanish (not anymore) because of prior experience with both these languages.

Lingots value on Mobile vs Mac

On Mobile (iPhone): It costs 100 Lingots per challenge get Legendary. And have to complete 8, so 800 Lingots to get Legendary.

On Mac: It costs 10 per, totaling 80! WHY???

And my Lingot count is different on each. Are Mobile-earned lingots different from Desktop Lingots? They are Blue on Mobile and Red on Mac.
