I'm trying to recover some images of a recently departed relative from an M8 that hasn't been powered on in ~6 years (they're on the internal storage, not a microSD). When I plug it in, it shows that I've charged it to 100%, but holding any combo of the three buttons (for up to three minutes) doesn't seem to do anything. Is there anything else I can do?

Looking to identify a noise that's developed on a 2011 Prius, 105k miles, almost certainly related to the rear axle/wheels. The most accurate descriptor I can think of is 'rustling', almost like gently rubbing your hands against each other. It's pretty quiet; I doubt I would hear it over a normal motor vs. a Prius. It only occurs when the car's moving. If the car's sat for a day+, it takes about 20 minutes for the noise to start. A mechanic told me it was nothing when I was getting some normal maintenance done, but I don't know that I trust that. So my question is what is it (or what are the possibilities), and do I need to get it fixed before a 1200-mile trip in a few months?

Shooting 7 of 35 (20%) pretty solidly beats the 9 of 40 (22.5%, 108-97 over Chicago in 2017), 2 of 19 (10.5%, 66-64 over Detroit in 2002), and 1 of 14 (7.1%, 97-87 over Cleveland in 2010) performances that contended for that title previously, at least IMO. It's the seventh time they've missed 28+ threes in a playoff win, but four of those wins saw at least 25% from three. The other three are this game, the aforementioned Chicago game, and a 92-87 bubble win over Toronto in 2020 (9 of 38, 23.7%).

Combined with the regular season, Boston is 234-132 when attempting 35+ threes, but they're 2-7 in those games when shooting 20% or worse from three. Their only worse 3-point performance in a win wh

Having trouble deciding on one of the entrées for the reception.

Setting is coastal New England in the late summer, following seafood chowder and a balsamic salad. Three entrées will be lobster, surf and turf, and a vegetarian pasta primavera (which will cost extra per plate, so we aren't aiming to push omnivores towards the option). We're between two options for the final entrée:

roast pheasant breast with arugula, chutney and wild rice

chicken piccata in a scallion, mushroom and lemon caper cream sauce with rice pilaf and veggies

A potential option may be to replace the pheasant with chicken.

People we've talked with are pretty evenly split between "Oh, definitely pheasant" and "Pheas

I noticed the sidebar links to regional beer subs seems somewhat outdated, so I decided to look to see what else is out there. This isn't particularly easy, given Reddit's horrid search function, so if there are some region-specific beer subs I missed, please post below. I found many that aren't on the sidebar, including a few dozen with activity. There are also a similar number on the sidebar with very little/no activity. Below, I've charted the number of posts and comments each sub has had in the past year (as of a few days ago), and at the bottom, I've put in my suggestion for an updated sidebar. It's certainly debatable what should/shouldn't be included, so feel free to voice your opinio

Why don’t BDCS (2016) and other vintages show up when filtering for top-rated beers from Arkansas? It has a 4.50 average from 1893 ratings, which would easily top the 4.15 Bayesian average of BDCS: Un Año, which currently shows as the top-rated. Only country and region filters are on, and out-of-production vintages of other beers show up. 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 should round out the top five as well.

I've been to a few dozen breweries around Denver over the years, but that's just a small fraction of what the area has to offer and I'm curious what the most unique breweries are that I could visit on an upcoming trip. A few favorites have been River North, Bierstadt, Uhl's Cerebral, Black Project, TRVE and Woods Boss, and I've hit most of the other highly recced places like New Image, 4 Noses, Odd13, Cohesion, Burns Family and Fritz Family. I'm planning on visiting Jade Mountain Brewery & Teahouse. Are there others that I should try that are putting out unusual product?

Looking for places with either huge or highly curated selections in DC or its surrounding counties (with at least one go-to in north DC/Bethesda/Silver Spring). I've been to Westover and d'vines, and have been fairly happy. I know there's a Craft Beer Cellar, but I'm rarely satisfied with their selections. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
