I am trying to pick my next notebook. I will be using it when I travel for work and have got a new travel handbag that JUST zips over both notebooks.

No. 1 notebook - Same cover as notebook I am using now. (Gorgeous cover) Is the slightly smaller notebook of the two. Ever so slightly easier to zip the bag with this notebook.

No. 2 notebook - Completely different cover than the other notebook. Really gorgeous cover as well but I think I like the other one slightly more. Is slightly (say half a cm all round) bigger than the first notebook.

The reason I can't choose is that I absolutely love the cover of the notebook I have now (same as notebook no.1) but wonder should I choose the othe

I am hopefully travelling to a few countries and would love to know beforehand if it is common for a lot or any people at all to write or journal out in public in Malaga? I'd like to know before I get there as I'd rather not stand out too much. Thanks! :)

Is there a lot of people writing or journaling in public? I would love to visit sometime and would like to know if this is common instead of finding out the awkward way! Even in my home town it's not very common for people to write in public

I really want to journal when I'm out. I've specifically bought a small notebook to be able to carry around in my bag and it's hardback so I can write anywhere.

I just get a bit nervous to take out my notebook when I'm out. I don't think other people actually care what I'm writing about or that I'm even writing but it still prevents me from enjoying writing outside the comfort of my home! XD

I'd love to go to cafes and write or be on a train to my next adventure and have my notebook to enjoy the journey with.

Any ideas? What do you do? Where do you all write outside and do you get a bit nervous too? :)

I've been journaling for years now, since I can remember as a child. I was always fascinated at keeping a journal. I'd also always read any books that were written like a diary or a journal.

I was just curious of those who have wanted to for years and just started or those who have come across journaling and something sparked your interest. Or those who have for years and years too.

What made you start? :)

• Just put pen to paper. It doesn't matter what you write/draw/doodle/scribble, just put something on the page. • Get a notebook with a higher gsm (paper thickness). I preferably go for notebooks with 120gsm or higher but it just means you can use a variety of writing utensils and they won't go through to the next page as easily. Meaning you can enjoy just writing and not worrying if it'll go through the page or not being able to use both sides of the page. • Write when you feel like it. Try not to force yourself to write or make it into a chore as you will feel it's just something you should tick off, particularly when starting off. If that works for you though - that's brilliant! But a l

I really want to carry mine with me all the time. My current notebook is B5 which is just a bit too heavy and big for me personally to carry around along with my other things. My next notebook is a B6 and I'm so excited to bring it with me. I am a bit worried other people will read it or that it might get lost. I'll have a specific bag with me that I'll be carrying with me everyday and it fits into it (just - I have to push the zip down and I open and close it XD) I'm thinking about just writing my phone number/email address on the front page and just being particularly careful to keep it in the bag. Anything else anyone does to protect it from getting lost or people looking into it? As fa

My current notebook is B5 which I love but my next one I've bought is B6 and it's such a great size. Really easy to bring around, lots of space but not overwhelming when you don't have much to say. Please feel free to share and inspire with others!

I always write at home. I've rarely written outside my house. I should be going travelling for work and I've always wanted to journal in a cafe or at the beach (I've journaled on the beach once before XD). I want to bring my notebook with me everywhere I go so that when I feel like journaling, I can.

I think what will help is the notebook I've bought for the trip (which I've calculated will hopefully start as I finish my current one XD) will be half the size (B6) which was recommended in past posts - thank you again, the size is chef's kiss. I can't wait but I'm a bit nervous to journal outside the comfort and safety of my home!

Where do you like to journal? Anywhere you haven't journ

I'm looking for a notebook that is about A6/15.5cmX11cm, 100gsm/120gsm (thicker paper is really important because I use a Pentel EnerGel 0.7mm that's a bit inky), hardback (preferably a cool design or colour), blank unlined pages. I can't see to find any small notebook that has all of these things - every single one I find is missing out on one of these XD I want to use it to keep it in my bag when I travel/day-to-day when I'm out in a small bag. Any recommendations at all would be extremely appreciated, thanks! :)

Anyone have any recommendations (preferably that they know from experience XD) of a handbag that would be good for travelling?

Some needs: can be crossbody not just a shoulder strap, lightweight but durable, zip closure

Preferably: at least one pocket, the strap to be made shorter or longer, some extra space to put a few extra small things in the bag if needed

Things I'd be carrying in the bag; my phone, a small coin purse that is just bigger than a credit card, a small notebook (around A6), small set of keys, a pack of tissues

(This is just an idea of it, of course if something different is recommended I will look into it :) )
