Do Fin or Horatio look at this horrific subreddit? I hope so, because I'd like to recommend they do an episode or two about the great comedy act of Najing in 1937.

Huge disappointment watching a really recent episode of fin vs history. 'How wars changed sex forever'. Talking about favourite homophobic slurs, especially old ones i was disappointed my favourite fudge-packer & mincer didn't come up. I've voiced these concerns directly to Fin and I expect an amendment moving forwards.

As title says I'm looking for recommendations for a new car based on a few details. I've done a fair bit of research but the amount of info out there is overwhelming.

For context I'm based in UK and have a budget of £10k-15k (ideally that's max but if I need to stretch by 2-3k I can consider this)

My situation:

  • Based in England, my gf lives up North so I drive 5hrs / 320 miles (round trip) every other week, sometimes every week.
  • I work in a small town close to home (5min drive door-to-door) Mon-Weds in office, rest of time wfh.
  • I'm 6ft2 and gym often so on the bigger side (Currently I drive a citreon c1 and feel like mr incredible or gru from despicable me in that)

Hi all, as the title suggests I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced scuffing from lifting weights at the gym?

I'm divided between taking it off whilst weight lifting as it won't be able to track my heart rate etc as accurately, but at the same time I'm starting to see scuffing / scratches on my ring. I've got a black Oura (i think 3 - was a gift).

I follow recommendation of not wearing it next to other jewelry, however I can feel it scraping against the metal weight bar whenever I'm using dumbells.

Does anyone else have this issue? What do you personally do about it?

Need a new PC

U.K / £800-1000

Previous PC has keeled over, was about time seeing as I bought it 10 years ago. Tried buying new PSU and still doesn't turn on after installation.

Decided I'm just going to buy / build a new PC with newer specs. I'm not longer 'in the know' with the latest PC components and their specs so some advice would be greatly appreciated.

I like to play a wide range of games, and thsu are usually quite demanding on the PC. Planning to also get VR in the near future so it being capable of that is a plus.

I want a PC with the best possible processing power for price. Ideally have an SSD also for quicker load times.

Other than gaming ill be using it for MS Office editing work documents, video / mo

Thought this would be best place to ask this question.

To give context I have a flexible cash ISA with Trading 212 that currently gives 4.5% AER interest, but pays out daily or weekly.

As it is flexible I can deposit / withdraw as many times as I like without penalty and without affecting my ISA allowance.

I have a bank account that has an interest free overdraft until June.

I was thinking about transferring this to my cash ISA until just before the no-longer-interest-free date, when I will return it to the account to ensure I don't trigger any interest. The idea is to make a few extra pennies at no cost to me.

My assumption is that it's totally fine & legal to do this and won't caus

I feel like I want to cry all the time. My gf left me 1 year ago now and I still feel like shit about it. Since then I've lost 2 jobs, I'm now in one that I love but panicking that I'm going to lose this one as well.

Daily I imagine jumping in front of a train, even on holiday recently in Portugal I had to stop myself having the urge to take a run up and jump off the 5 storey balcony.

If I lose this job that's it. I'm done trying. I'm clearly not made for this life, it's too much and I can't find peace or happiness in it
