Just heard that Microsoft revoked Office 2019 perpetual licenses on Mac and honestly it's the final straw. Not on Mac myself but this is clearly the direction Microsoft is heading for everyone on perpetual licenses and I'm not waiting around for it to happen to me. The whole point of a perpetual license was that you owned it. Apparently not.
I’m considering going with the free WPS Office plan for now. I'm not a power user, standard document creation and editing, spreadsheet work, and occasional presentations are the main use cases. Is the free tier sufficient for that or does it push you toward paid features for anything beyond the basics?
We are preparing to upgrade about 50 computers assigned to non-technical field workers. To cut down on Microsoft Office license costs, I am looking into free alternatives. While LibreOffice and OpenOffice are the standard go-to options, I have been trialing WPS Office and noticed its interface feels much more familiar to Word and Excel users.
Losing Outlook is our main hurdle, but since we use Google Workspace, our team can easily rely on web-based Gmail. The daily workload is very light, mostly opening basic text documents and spreadsheets, along with the occasional slideshow.
Has anyone deployed WPS Office, LibreOffice, or OpenOffice across a similar fleet? Were there any unexpected issu

I have some very notorious calluses and for long I just let them be but I think now they are some of the things affecting my confidence. A friend recommended this electric callus remover which is more convenient since I’m not very flexible given my size. What are your experiences with such and is this a durable brand?
I’ve had a problem with calluses on my feet for most of my adult life. I’ve tried a lot of solutions from pumice stones to foot cream but they always come back and I admit I am not the most consistent person.
A friend advised me to try out the electric callus removers, you know the ones that have rotating pumice attachments. It seems more convenient for foot maintenance since it will only take a few minutes of scrubbing everyday and it’s much faster than most other options.
I also know that in practice it might be a little different so I’m looking for practical feedback on electric callus removers. My friend suggested this brand(Nuve), but I have seen several others that are similar so

I recently switched to GrapheneOS and I’m trying to figure out the best way to install and use WPS Office on it. I mainly need it for spreadsheets and opening/editing Microsoft Office documents.
For those who are using it, are you downloading it through the Play Store sandbox, Aurora Store, or directly through APKs? Also, how has the overall performance been on GrapheneOS in terms of speed, battery usage, notifications, and stability?
So far I’ve seen mixed opinions around privacy, but I’m mostly interested in whether it runs smoothly day-to-day and if there are any issues specific to GrapheneOS.
Building a desktop app with Electron that needs proper document editing with solid .docx and .xlsx compatibility. Web based editors like ProseMirror don't cut it for my use case and MS Office SDK isn't an option for independent developers.
WPS Office has an SDK and uses the same file formats I need which makes it the obvious candidate to look at. What I can't establish clearly is how mature the SDK actually is for this kind of embedded editing use case and what the commercial licensing looks like for a third party application.
Has anyone actually embedded the WPS Office SDK into an Electron app and what was the experience like?
I am trying to build a couple of WPS Office add-ins and have started looking into what's available for developers. I found some npm dependencies that look relevant but the documentation is predominantly in Chinese which makes it hard to evaluate what I'm actually working with and follow the development guides properly.
I’m looking for practical English language resources that actually walk through the add-in development process rather than just high level API references. Things like setting up the development environment, understanding the add-in architecture, working with the available APIs, and getting something deployed and working end to end.
Is there an official English language devel
Most of the NetSuite spreadsheet integration documentation and community resources I find are built around Microsoft Excel which is the obvious default, but I want to understand whether WPS Spreadsheets is a viable alternative for this specific use case.
The core workflow I'm trying to build is pulling data from NetSuite, processing and formatting it in a spreadsheet, and pushing results back where needed. Standard stuff that works well enough with Excel but I want to know how much of that transfers to WPS Spreadsheets given the .xlsx format compatibility.
A few specific things I'm trying to understand. Does the .xlsx format compatibility between WPS Spreadsheets and Excel mean that NetS
I have very big and rough calluses on the side of my feet and the balls of my feet
I use a pumice stone after showering daily and it’s not really helping. They are thick and have been there for years. Best way to get rid of them?
I want to take care of some calluses on the back of my heels (and a gnarly one on the inside of my right heel, for some reason) and big toes.
What specific products do you use to both treat and keep them at bay?
