I distinctly recall an episode in which the group were playing Monopoly, Gonzo had a hotel, and Animal destroyed it by burping. My brothers and I watched that scene over and over on VHS. I would love to show it to my kids but I can’t find it anywhere. First, this did exist, right? Second, any suggestions on where to find this old episode or scene?

How does this work? My two kids will be in different age groups, but they prefer to be together. I see that you can waiver in potentially in some scenarios, but with this age gap does anyone have a sense of the possibilities/options for the two to co-mingle in the kids club?
I saw someone on Tik Tok (I think Cuss Creep) suggest that things will begin to fall apart in the other world (“Earth X”) once Fleury goes through the portal and everyone on Earth X sees a black man. This didn’t occur to me until he said it, but I have to imagine they are setting up something like this. Presumably, Fleury, a new character who is investigating the portal and happens to be black, will at some point cross over based on conventional storytelling at which point it will be exciting to see how Earth X responds to a black man. Are all minorities dead? Exiled? Imprisoned? Segregated? Maybe they never existed. I’m super excited to see how this plays out.
I was waiting for a hearing in the hallway of the courthouse when I overheard two attorneys chatting. One was saying how they love taking cases in a particular county because it’s far from his office but close to his home so he could get to the courthouse in 15 minutes but bill for two hours. As someone who has worked on contingency for most of my career, I would assume that what he is describing is classic overbilling and an ethics violation, but these guys were chatting so openly that I’m wondering am I wrong or were these guys just clueless to be so vocal about their ethical violations.
What’s the verdict?
In a comment to another post in this sub Reddit, an attorney was complaining about the younger attorneys entering the field. In my experience, they are generally much more cooperative than their predecessors. I’m curious if this is a widely held belief. From what I can see, their viewpoint on work life balance is indicative of their general attitude. It’s not that they’re lazy, but they don’t see the point of arguing for no reason or grandstanding. Am I alone in this experience?
Hey all. I’m loving the Dropout content and I’m a fan of BLM, but I have struggled to get into the first season of D20.
Do I need to watch the first season to understand later seasons? Are there any particular seasons that are standouts that I can watch first?
I had planned to book a room at the Mandalay Bay for a trip in February with my family including two kids, ages 8 and 11, but it just occurred to me that it’ll probably be too cold to use the pools.
So I’m back to the drawing board. Ideally, I want a hotel with larger rooms (or suites), renovated or quality rooms, an arcade and kid-friendly food options. I considered Excalibur but the rooms seemed dodgy. I would still stay at Mandalay Bay
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I was at work today when I received a text from my wife. She was panicking because she realized that the holiday card that we had sent out a week or two ago included a photo of my family with everyone giving the middle finger. We take family photos annually and this year as a goof, I suggested that we all do a hidden middle finger photo, including my two relatively young kids (preteen). I’ve been very busy at work so when my wife told me that she designed our holiday card, I gave it a quick glance and said it looks great. It does. But it’s been a week or two since we sent it out and just today she realized that one of the small pictures she chose for the back of the photo was the middle fing
I lost my keys last night (March 6) while walking from the 75th Ave. subway stop to 77th Rd., I’m hoping someone here may have found them because according to my Tile tracker, the keys were taken to Jersey City and back to the neighborhood today and the person who found them checked the QR code on the Tile last night, which I foolishly had not set up yet. If any of you kind souls have found my keys, please check the QR code again and you can contact me there. Otherwise, please send me a message here. There should be approximately four keys on the ring, a zip drive that is silver in color and the tile.
I understand the broad strokes but I’m confused about some of the details. Any help?
I thought it very interesting that Sam came to the conclusion that since his hallucination of Golden Boy said, “I love you,” it could not be coming from Sam because Sam hates himself. However, that would suggest one of two things: (1) Sam doesn’t actually hate himself as much as he thinks he does; or, more interestingly, (2) Sam is right and the hallucination was not coming from Sam. If #2, then someone else has to be creating the hallucinations, which is possible given all the super powers.
Am I reading too much into this, or is someone else manipulating Sam through the hallucinations?
I decided to read the Jason Aaron Avengers run and I’m coming across a repeat problem. It’s as if key parts of the story are missing or happen between issues. For example, I liked Age of Khonshu as a concept but it came out of nowhere. One issue they hint at a coming Moon Knight threat and the next issue the entire world is under Khonshu’s control. I just got to Enter the Phoenix and it’s the same thing. An issue giving the origin of the prehistoric Phoenix character, and prior hints that the Phoenix is coming. Next issue is Captain America fighting Doom in a tournament, I guess (I just read that scene before coming here). Did anyone else find this to be an issue in his run? Am I missing tie
